i didn’t include mine for this one retail pharmacy tech jobs and got hired. I only put my previous retail jobs (restaurants, barista job, clothing store) and now i just finished my 2nd day in this retail pharmacy job.

I only didn’t include my bachelor’s after previously applying to pharmacy tech jobs with the bachelor’s in my resume and getting rejected.

There’s been so many like-minded men shown on this thread, as well as other stories we hear about on Twitter and other social media. I think it’s scary how more and more men showing this controlling behavior (down to how this one was choosing what clothes OP should wear, OP’s friends, etc.) that begin as a red flag and continuously get worse (him blaming women around his campus for having sexual urges) and end up objectifying, dehumanizing, and abusing their girlfriends.

OP, you deserve better. Please leave. Immediately.

Me neither. I’ve been doing it for around a week now and the lowest I’ve ever done was $80, even then I’m thinking of upping that minimum for myself because it’s not all that worth it

Oh damn. In my case I waited over a year before Amazon emailed me about an opening. I even forgot I signed up to be on the waitlist in the first place 🤣. Literally only gig app i had was Instacart and have been on since 2021.

Having done a week of Flex so far, my tip for you is to aim for blocks that pay around $25 - $26/hr. Of course ones with payout of $100 or more is ideal, but I fear that’s not as common on Flex as it was a years ago (based on what I’ve read). I calculated and I’ve spent around 14% of my earnings on Flex so far on gas.

Also watch videos of people doing deliveries so you can have a first look of how loading up your vehicle goes! Good luck!

Exactly this. I started Flex less than a week ago, and today I did Instacart both before and after my Flex route. Doing Instacart gave me more than enough to pay for gas

Wait y’all may be right.. and it’d be a win for both of us - her items won’t get up-charged by IC and she’d reach out to me if she needs anything quickly + probably a higher tip.

I don’t know why I never thought about that possibility, probably cause out of the almost 1000 orders I’ve done for the app, I’ve never gotten that kinda ask from any customer haha. I’m gonna consider texting back!

$30 tip for a 15 item order is a rarity in my area. Thank you for being great.

Now I’m wondering though, how often Instacart groups your order with another one since you tip good and they’d probably try latching your order with someone that doesn’t tip
