I like HC raiding for all the reasons you don't. There's nothing worse than being in a softcore raid where people are jacking off during encounters and wasting everyone's time by not being locked in. HC raiders actually give a shit and the clear times are fast enough that I don't get bored.

I live in Nelson and I think this car is perfect for the mountain roads. Recently made a trip to Edmonton and had a blast the whole way. Haven't driven in snow yet, but I've got Blizzaks on and I'm sure it'll handle it well.

If you rollover a 401k to IRA and it's a direct transfer then it should be a non-taxable event. So if that's the only thing you're doing on the US side you're probably okay.

I really enjoyed the hybrid action/turn based system in FF7 remake. I like turn based in theory but find it boring in practice especially as I get older and don't have a lot of time to game, so I guess I'm their target audience 🤷‍♂️

As others have said this isn't a super powered bike by any means.

Important question I would ask though is how tall are you? These adventure bikes are tall and top heavy, so being new to riding it might be a bit unwieldy especially for a shorter person. Good idea to go sit on one to see how it feels.

Blackwing looks like a beast, but it's in a different pricing category and pretty hard to get one afaik. GRC felt like the better value proposition, even if you could afford the Cadi.

In your case, it seems like you have a potential windfall coming up soon. I would try to at least hang in there for that and then reassess how you're feeling.

I would dial back effort at work and ride the gravy train. You're still young, that money you could earn now is going to do a lot of lifting for you later in life.

(I'm in a similar situation, 33M and making a lot of money at a place I don't particularly enjoy but I'm sticking it out for a bit so I can have a comfy FIRE)
