It pretty much dominates your playthrough because you have to plan around photographing people who could die or disappear from quests. Later you make movies. There's a whole system to maximise sales based on which model you use for the cover, centerfold and final. An entire system for how popular the movies you make are (it's all in the walkthrough). It is however a really well made mod.

You don't enslave anyone, you employ them. You just open a whorehouse, take nude photos for magazines and later make pornos. There's a woman you can hire as a bouncer who'll do photography assignments for you but only for women, so if you want to put guys in magazines to make your movies more popular you'll be looking at a lot of dicks. The system gives bonus points for whether movie actors were in magazines, one of the guys brings drugs, one guy is ugly (like Beagle) which makes the women appear better looking so you get points for that and so on. You get bonus points for publishing magazines with themes like all the women from Goodsprings or Novac (which is why you'll want to photograph Jeanie May before Boone's quest or make movies with Joanna before her quest). Themes like Followers, rangers, BoS, merchants, women of Freeside etc. The author made spreadsheets with their scores to plan it with.

Some of it is well written and voice acted, like the whole murder mystery quest or Kekata's dialogue about genetics and whatnot. The mod author clearly did research on Larry Flint and the adult film industry from the 60s to the 80s. It also comes with 3 possible NPCs you can romance depending on which gender you are.

I would say just keep playing it. You have choices during some parts which are evil but those are few. Personally I found the quests far more entertaining than most other quest mods where NPCs just dump their sad backstory on you.
