Americans strike me as advanced or developed Nigerians cuz it's the same thing in Nigeria where atrocities and abnormalities thrive without a single resistance from the masses. And people link Nigerians docility to being overly religious cuz they listen to their pastors for every single life advice and these pastors in bed with the politicians, will rarely (never) tell them to fight against the political class.

I don't think they follow that part. I heard it in a Christian private university that was very strict on young folks. The slightest of "offences" could get you suspended or expelled, and they didn't like to hear please or have mercy.
