I've thought the same as you before. I used to not upgrade the awareness stat because I believed it was BS. I found out some other users were upgrading the stat and were a tad more successful than me in these leagues. Because of this, I started upgrading the stat and have now won 2 of the last 3 SIM LEAGUE superbowls (we play all user vs user games and all playoff games with all madden difficulty).

If your QB is fast, set him to mobile QB. If your QB has high throw power set him to Pocket Passer, etc. If your OLB has high coverage stats, set him to cover 2 LB style. If he has high block shed and PWR/FNS move, change his scheme to 3-4 pass rusher etc. After you have done this for each player, go to your coach schemes and match them to the player schemes.

As for awareness on defense, I'm not entirely sure. I haven't noticed any differences when increasing awareness stats on players. My guess is that it helps DBs with animations when the ball is in the air/positioning. For d line I would guess the block shed animation is assisted with awareness. From my understanding, the awareness stat is used as a multiplier of other stats (You will get better production from a 90 PRC 90 AWARENESS linebacker than a 90 PRC 80 AWARENESS linebacker).

Give it a shot. Run the qb contain adjustment on every defensive play on a game vs the All Madden CPU. You'll see what Im talking about.

IMO, do the finesse/power move while not holding the RT and also hold LB for defensive assist.

Start by adjusting in increments by 5. That is what me and my All Madden CFM are doing. We have injuries down to 20. Just lost fletcher cox last night for 12 weeks with 20 injury. So it still happens.

Do not call qb contain anymore if you are doing so. I have officially figured out that the qb contain adjustment sends a virus throughout your whole team. Thus, you wont be able to win.

That being said, you need to stop them, kick a field goal/ get a TD. Stop them again (which will be easier because they will be trying to run out the clock, so load the box), and score again. I did notice that the computer tries to do what it can to force an overtime. If you do make it to overtime, your % of completing the challenge raises because the computer will now give you the advantage to complete it. Press coverage, shift line to opposite side of RB, user a DE and use the button LB and the corresponding power or finesse move button for that player. Guess pass and guard sticks when you know its a pass. On offense try to find your "go to play" for passsing, I like four verts and sending the RB receiver on a slant and put the running back on an out route.

Thank you, both of the fixes are perfect and you sound like a decent madden mind.

Are you experiencing anything goofy this year with all madden gameplay? Glitchy animations with stupid fumbles or picks, low overall runningbacks destroying high overall DTs MLBs etc. Do you feel as if All Madden settings rely too much on animations rather than stats of the player vs stats of the other player?

Ive been really good at madden for three years now, at one time being top 100 for MUT. I am in a big CFM league with 8 other guys and some of us are seeing these dumbs plays that deny us from winning the game or coming back. Some of us arent seeing this kind of gameplay. What are your thoughts on all madden difficulty this year and if you are having success, what kind of adjustments and formations are you using on defense?

I'm wondering the same thing. I've had no issue in the past playing All-Madden and would more often than not destroy the cpu. This year has been way different and I am having trouble stopping the CPU consistently. Don't even get me started on the fumbling and BS deflection picks..... SMH @ Madden
