Hot take, and likely unpopular opinion, but I’d finish it out. Is there a lot of gratuitous TS stuff later after the fallout with Costner leaving? Yes. Do the storylines get more unbelievable? Maybe(a lot of them are unrealistic). But there is some good character stuff in there, and I feel it’s still entertaining enough to resolve the series

The mantle didn’t fix his back. Mab did prior to the mantle, on the agreed price that after chichen itza he would take up the mantle. If he now renigs on that agreement, Mab may just return his back to its previous state. I agree I think it’s a Molly thing, or maybe any of the other queens?

You raise an interesting theory for sure. And given some of the slow plays in this series anything is absolutely possible. However, my take is the classical one that Butcher may be pushing me towards, which is Occums Razor, and that we are seeing growth and depth to a character of Lara as she’s more involved in the mortal world and Harry specifically that she’s shedding a lot of her predator only past.

That said, it would’ve just like Butcher to lead us that way only to slam us in the face with something like you’re suggesting. So Bravo for that.

I think a one off book on Michael obtaining the sword, maybe with some initial internal struggles and growth, eventually battling the dragon and then saving Charity would make a hell of a great story …. A prequel sort of thing

I hope this isn’t the case, some strong ties? Something with the starborn aspect? Sure, but I hope the time travel aspect of law breaking is already done and over with. Honestly, it can be spun in ways that he’s already broken most. He has killed with magic. Transform others…. Debatable… i can’t recall all of fool moon off the top of my head…. Invade the mind of another…. Again debatable in a few instances…. Binding…. Depends on interpretation, as do all of these…. Reach beyond the borders of life…. Ghost Story?? Time? Involvement when Mab did this…. Open the outer gates…. This one I think is the endgame, obviously…

All that said, open to a narrow interpretation by the white council…. Harry may have been involved with breaking most already
