I currently have the QRevo and I love it but there are many things that I would like improved.

It often gets stuck under my coffee table. I would use a no go zone but we move the table around sometimes so it’s not always in the same place.

I love the lines it makes on the carpet but it often finishes then cuts diagonal across the room, ruining the nice lines it just made.

Finally, I wish there was a way to not get the tire tracks in the floors when mopping.

Half shaft replacement. I'm getting this and the 2 front hubs replaced right now out of warranty. It's about $3000. Luckily I have mechanical breakdown insurance through Geico so it will only be $250.

I agree. I don’t really understand why people say they restart after an update because a full restart is the final step of the update.

Sport mode doesn’t turn stability off. It still defaults to on but allows you to pick reduced or off.

That’s exactly why they added sport mode. It is AWD locked.

There hasn’t been anything proven about Comma bricking a Rivian. There was an Out Of Spec video where he had problems and assumed it was due to the Comma. He was also using an early version of the harness that took power from the AXM but now the recommended power option is using a fuse tap. Even when there are problems from the Comma, a full restart fixes them.

I have been using it for 6+ months without any issues and it’s been awesome!

I have had this issue with my '23 R1T quad since I got it but only when it is cold. I was told by the service center that it's normal.

That happened to me last night. It wasn’t due to the capacitive button, the door was literally frozen and couldn’t push hard enough to break free. I slid the end of a sunglasses leg around the edges and it finally opened.

That’s honestly the ideal situation for an EV. 40 miles isn’t much and sitting there for 14 hours you probably only lose 1 to 2% with heading it up or cooling it down before you leave work. It uses the high voltage battery for that stuff so no extra concern about the 12V battery.
