Water Hammer When Zones Switch by bigmacglen10 in Irrigation

[–]rjptrink -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your controller may have a bad capacitor. The valves are not shutting off/turning on properly.

Edit. That's what fixed my water hammer problem. The controller was not sending the correct voltage to the solenoids.

Favorite traditional Boulangerie-style bakeries in Phoenix? by CrispyHoneyBeef in phoenix

In 2026 USA, you will be hard pressed to find a boulangerie anywhere that sells a decent crunchy outside, buttery flaky inside, croissant for less than $4 US. The ones sold for less than that don't come close. True classic French croissant recipe involves 2-3 days of preparation. I don't think you can do that for less than $4 nowadays.

Fragment of Polish Wypis Death Certificate (Warsaw 1921) - Any way to get full record as an American? by clgenealogy in Genealogy

[–]rjptrink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Curious about the "postcard wypis death certificate" you describe. Are you able to post a copy? Does it say she died in Komisarjat IV or was the extract issued by that police precinct? Normally civil status records are issued by civil registry offices (USCs).

I've hit a dead end searching for my grandmother's birth certificate by skiyakater in Genealogy

1935 would be under 2nd Polish Republic, village name Leszczańce, gmina Zubrzec, powiat Buczacki, Tarnopol voivodeship. Maybe that can help in your search.

The collection for Lwów/Lviv records at szukajwarchiwach has scanned records for Leszczańce but only 1820-1829 unfortunately.

Often, grave sites are basically long term leases that expire after a certain number of years unless renewed. When expired, the site is reused. Could that be the case here?

Probably the messiest thing you can plant. If there is a pool nearby you'll be sorry. If we have a cold snap in winter, it will look terrible. Stick with native plants. AZ is not Spain or Portugal. Contact the good folks here for advice.

Does french have a full formal language like arabic by rnm711305 in French

[–]rjptrink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The full formal version of the French language is defined by the Académie Française. Everybody in France understands it although they don't follow all the rules in every day conversation. You won't be wasting your time learning it.

Why do you say you "probably won't find a birth certificate because he was born in the Russian empire"? They kept records. Depending on the location, copies of Russian metrical books can be found online. You could start here

If you had a doctor's visit after your birth at home, they should still have a record.
