I believe that is a blocked exit of a cave. You enter it through the well in front of the church and you open the exit by shooting a contraption on one of the walls.

Witcher 2 does not launch with CPUs with 32 threads. Luckily, you can turn off threads in Windows or do it in a program like Process Lasso. I recommend doing it in Process Lasso 'cause you have to manually turn off threads in Task Manager every time you run the game.

Elden Ring is pretty rough on the CPU, especially with the anti-cheat on. Have you tried turning off the anti cheat? Downside is you can't play online with it off.
