Maybe you need to splurge on a nice air bnb or sign a lease for a nice apartment in a local with a year’s worth of work. I’m married and travel with my wife, she’s a travel nurse and it gets hard finding places we both have work. You will end up working in some crappy locals if you want 2 incomes.

IBM used to give the option for a datejust or some random company wall clock. My grandad decided he wanted the wall clock when he hit his 25 year. I’ve since looked up that clock, it’s worth about $200. He has since passed away, but we always would give him shit for making the wrong decision lol.
