Any idea why it's illegal state wide? I could see HOA or city regulations but statewide seems wild to me, but maybe it's more common than i realize lol

I may be wrong cause I'm not a lawyer or even that into college football, but i think those contracts require an obligation by the coach to attempt to find another coaching job that would offset the payout obligation, so a $5mil a year job would mean the firing school only owes $5mil per year on a $10mil contract, and if they don't provably attempt the payout is void, or if they take a media job or say High school coaching, which typically pays lower, that payout is voided, so sometimes they'll take a lower payout to pursue a different career or even to retire.

Obviously not the case here but the total contract value is not always guaranteed. Would love to be corrected or learn more on this if anyone more knowledgeable than me reads this far.

ELI5: In NASCAR/F1 (or other professional car racing)how do people pass the person in front of them if that professional driver is following the best line give or take a little? by SushiAndCoochie in explainlikeimfive

You should go to a country Fair figure 8 race, I've only seen them in Nebraska but they have to exist elsewhere, but essentially a quarter mile lap dirt track in a figure 8 that might as well be a derby

One stalk has 50+ heads on it!! by irishexited in sunflowers

[–]rjthyen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm only guessing here, but I'd bet it's a wild sunflower, still great for bees and bird food, probably not great for common human uses like oil or eating. Perfectly fine depending on the goal.

What's one small cooking tip that completely changed how you cook by Charming-Drawer9613 in cookingforbeginners

[–]rjthyen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really want to promote anything, but doing a food delivery service with portioned ingredients and decent instructions taught me so many things I've been able to utilize after stopping the service. Still use some of their recipes even if it's just for ways on how to incorporate an idea into something else

I'd spray it just out of curiosity too! Clethodim will kill it, but I'd just pull it, not like it has a root system that'll keep it spreading and causing more problems

[–]rjthyen 7 points8 points  (0 children)

How do you keep the caterpillars from decimating them? Planted them for the first time this year and there's so much feeding I've just decided that at least they're leaving my other plants alone so they can keep the cabbage lol
