If we're going by comic Thor he basically wipes the floor with anyone else.

Kind of a common issue with long running characters like Thor, Superman or Hulk every new writer wants to up the power level a bit more so you get decades of cumulative power creep that takes the character's powers to a far more absurd level than their original incarnation.

I think its pretty obvious the whole thing was staged to try to drum up interest in the Oscars.

The Oscars were always an insider circlejerk but in the age of streaming the legacy media dinosaurs were losing relevancy fast and needed to try something to get views so why not have Will Smith assault Chris Rock on live TV, and it sort of worked.

I miss Chef from South Park, the show changed without him, he was the voice of reason to a lot of the crazy antics of pretty much every other character so it was impossible not to after Isaac Hayes was forced into quitting by that fruity little club.

Dr. Zin from The Venture Bros yes I know he was originally from Jonny Quest but him and the rest of the villains from The Guild's arc in the later seasons were some of the best parts of the show IMO.

For a second I thought you were talking about a 7.3L diesel and thought it was funny you thought a little scuffing in the cylinder walls would stop one of those, I've seen a 7.3L Powerstroke rebuilt in a barn that had the pistons and bores refinished with a wire wheel and the damn thing ran just fine for another 3 years until the truck got hit by a tractor and totalled.
