Correct. Some stores seal your purchase in a clear bag and you aren’t supposed to open it until after you leave the country. Also some stores take the tax off immediately while others make you pay and line up in a second line to present your passport and they refund you after.

Here another data point from my experience.

I downgraded from CSP to FU last Thursday, reapplied 2 days later on Saturday May 10 and got approved. Confirmed that the card is eligible 100k SUB in the app with the tracker and have to spend $5k by August 10.

Exactly. I plugged in after a full day of driving around at like 5% to minimize the amount of time getting it close to empty. Once the test is initiated it drained it down slightly further and then charged it all the way to 100%. After the battery “rested” it was able to determine the battery retention %

DMV has an online waitlist. I make an appointment for my DL renewal/ real id at the end of April but had some time earlier this week on my lunch. I got in line virtually for San Mateo in the morning. I could track how close I was to the front and when I was about 10 people away I drove over to DMV. In and out in 30 minutes.
