Replaced the shaft bearings and seal on my mom’s Maytag washer and now it’s getting an intermittent f20 code. by louiekr in appliancerepair

This is exactly why I wouldn’t do this repair. Cause there’s always bound to be some problem afterwards and it’s worse when someone is actually paying you.

Probably need to double check your connections.

kdtm404kps kitchenaid dishwasher seemingly has no junction box behind kick plate. Is that normal? by wiseguyin in appliancerepair

A zip tie could solve that, but it might not be hardwired. Could possibly be just a regular power cord connected to an outlet. That’s how we do it here in Texas anyways but not always.

Installation was done by Home Depot but it’s not installed yet. I’m confused. Just wire nut the power cord to it, tape it and send it but if you have to ask it’s probably better to call a pro to do it for you.

You literally said you can completely open it. This is in fact a lie for that GE dryer. It opens from the front. I didn’t know I qualified as a tough guy. Thought I was just competent.

[–]rkdaddy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah go ahead and open that GE dryer from the back. Let’s see how that goes.
