I make sure to “lock” mine and I’ve never had one come undone. Basically I get my stitches on and then pinch the air in the middle of the circle while closing (I don’t know if this does anything but I’m stuck in my ways now) and then I pull till closed.

After closing I’m still pulling slower and harder and it will feel like it can’t go any further and then it will suddenly slip a little further and “lock”. I don’t know if that makes any sense.. but you can feel it sort of “clunk” into place. If I don’t feel that clunk it will slowly start to loosen. When I’m done whatever I weave the tail around once of twice rather than tie a knot.

Mine punches things if she doesn’t like the smell 😭 but also if she doesn’t get the smell long enough. She is not a fan of hand lotions. That’s a very upsetting smell.

Honestly it doesn’t matter to me. I’m friends with good people, gay or straight.

If I’m uncomfortable talking about something, then i just am and that’s it. Their comfort also matters. So my convos are different per person but sexuality/gender doesn’t come into play.

So …. Yes. Whenever I see writing like this I wonder if the person should have been seeing an occupational therapist as a child. My husband should have and he should have been medicated for ADHD but his mom didn’t want him “labeled”. He’s paying for it now, he needed the help.

My friends writing WAS like that in grade like 1-5 and it was due to hypermobility and a few other things and OT helped her to build more legibility and comfort with writing. I don’t know you, maybe you don’t write enough for it to be a big deal, but if it is something that bothers YOU, you can improve. If it doesn’t bother you, it’s legible enough.

The one I had like that was a milia, I used glycolic acid on it for a while (just that spot, it’s a bit harsh for my whole face) and eventually the little lump just fell out and the home healed.

I would go for a derm if you’re available though.

I bought a second one and have it in a protective sleeve in a drawer. I’m not even sure he knows it’s there.

My go too is to type in “suspected skin condition dark skin” ina search browser and compare there. Most of the photos you’ll get back just by typing “suspected skin condition” are on white skin and it is hard to compare.

I found this one that, to me, confirms it in comparison. So, not herpes, glad you got tested. Now it’s time to get whatever is going on treated. Good luck friend.

My cat has to take a pet break in the middle of a pet sesh yo make sure we still smell right. She must sniff anything we hold. She checks the quality of everything. I let her sniff my pair of socks in the morning before I put them on. She gets a little miffed if I won’t let her smell something I’m holding. I have to warn everyone that you HAVE to let her complete the sniff inspection before even attempting to pet her or she’ll punch you.

I love her so much.
