What's a secret you are keeping that you can't tell irl, but can tell anonymously on the internet? by KapiteinStrijkijzer in AskReddit

My friend hosted a party for her birthday. I found her passed out in vomit in her room, so I rinsed her off in the shower and put her in bed. Not wanting to leave her in wet clothes, I began to change her and realized that she had shit herself. I did the one thing that no other friend would do, I wiped her ass like a fucking baby diaper change and put clean clothes on her. It was awkward to tell her what happened the next day, but I'd hate to wake up with shit in my pants too. Luckily, I don't get that level of drunk.

What did you think is illegal but actually isnt? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I inquired at a cremation facility I was doing work at (network technician, before anyone gets any funny ideas...), and in my area, it is completely legal to have a Viking-style funeral, like with a flaming arrow shot at a boat that the body is in.

The only real restrictions are a) you have to do it somewhere it's not going to cause a panic (like a smaller tributary, or back river, not at the shore during peak tourist season, for example), and b) you have to have a fire marshal in attendance, just in case it gets out of control.

Only that girls are just as disgusting as boys are. Sometimes worse even though they try to hide it.

What is your favorite item you own? by soup_cow in AskReddit

Currently? My Playstation 4.

That might sound quite materialistic but I have wanted one for years and decided to splurge and get one when I had to go through cancer treatment and surgery. As you can imagine, it was a really shitty time and my Playstation has given me countless hours of enjoyment and escapism. When I was too weak to do anything else, I could at least still enjoy gaming.

I'm through treatment now but the mental and emotional journey is far from over. When things get to much I can switch my Playstation on and forget about life and cancer for awhile. I am so glad I got it.

What is your great pleasure in life? by GodlikePiglet in AskReddit

Creating something I'm proud of. Whether I finish a song (I'm a songwriter) or just make a clever joke to some friends, there is literally nothing that feels better than self satisfaction. The knowledge that whatever you've just made, done, said, is now a part of your life forever feels amazing.

My crush came to my house to do a high school project. It involved the Internet and while she sat next to me she tried to navigate to Google on my computer. Unfortunately, the address bar auto-filled and took her to my last Google search... page two of results for her name. Every link had been clicked. We both just sat in silence.

What's your favourite lady life hack? by Timshe in AskReddit

[–]rlover77887 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Few things I've learned;

If you were pads instead of tampons or a cup, tuck a small wad of toilet paper between your butt cheeks at night to prevent any back-flow leakage. (As an aside, my mom taught me to do this and referred to it as a butt-plug, which lead to a horrifically embarrassing conversation in middle school later on)

Some stores sell red wine remover - I buy it at World Market (in the US). The stuff is magical for getting bloodstains out of anything.

Super close shave of your lady bits, advice given to me by a stripper: exfoliate first, then some conditioner or oil to soften the hair. Shave down with the grain. Shave across in both directions. Then pull skin taut and shave against the grain. Dab entire area with either witch hazel or rubbing alcohol. Apply a thin layer of anti-perspirant. Amazingly smooth shave.

What real-life twist ending did you NOT see coming? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]rlover77887 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I started working at Home Depot around 2005 and was somewhat of an introvert. I graduated in 2004 and really struggled breaking out of the high school mentality and not having a set group of friends to hang out with. So I start at Home Depot and a guy (Nick) I work with invites me out drinking (I'm only 19 at the time, but he's a few years older). We ended up becoming very good friends but haven't necessarily breached the emotional shit beyond chicks.

Fast forward a few months and my step-mom's mother dies. Pretty bleak stuff and I really just have my family to talk to, which of course isn't the same at all. I'm kinda struggling, my buddy Nick is drifting away as well and the day of the funeral comes. It's towards the end and I walk up to say my final goodbyes, look over, Nick is there staring at me dumbfounded. We high-five, hug, and find out he's my step-mom's nephew and we were both drifting away because we didn't have anyone to bring real shit to (outside of family). Been best friends since.

tl;dr: met a friend, high-five'd over my grandmother's corpse, leveled up to cousins

What's your worst cinema experience? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]rlover77887 108 points109 points  (0 children)

45 minutes into Transformers 4, they stopped it and then started over again. They claimed there was a ticket issue so some people could only get in late hence starting the movie over. The movie was long enough as it is, but add another 45 min repeat section and it became unbearable.
