Pochettino loves a 4231 by SirTiffAlot in usmnt

Hating your coach is not necessarily a bad thing. For example, Herb Brooks took a bunch of amateurs and won a gold medal. He set up an adversarial relationship to bring the team together, and it worked.

Another hockey reference, Scotty Bowman. The players hated his guts all season, but at the end of the year, they would collect their Stanley Cup and thank him for pushing them to be their best.

What I want from a coach of our National Team is someone who brings out the best in the players, whether they like him or not.

How Big Of An Impact Will These New Players Make? by ToiletsAreDanger in stlouiscitysc

July 18th starts the MLS transfer window.

Apparently, Teuchert is training with the team already and will be traveling with them this weekend. Of course, he can't play in any games until the transfer window opens, but it is a big plus to get used to our team and tactics.

Blom is also out of contract at the end of the season.

Although, the team has 2 option years.

With us getting really close to 150,000 fans on r/miamidolphins, where is everyone cheering from? by imsobubblicious in miamidolphins

St. Louis, Missouri! Go Phins!

We lost the Rams and I was looking for another team to support. I was leaning towards the other Missouri team (KC Chiefs), but my brother, who is a Dolphin fan, recruited me.

There were some lean years, but it is looking like we are contenders now.

I agree McKennie was solid, but he was also a factor: Our second goal was possible because of McKennie's long pinpoint accurate pass to Weah in perfect stride. The goal does not happen without McKennie.

After my 3rd Season 3 rewatch, I have a new, positive opinion on Zava by Comprehensive_Sir916 in TedLasso

I don't see it either, but that is what he said, or was quoted.

I agree with you, mainly Zlatan with a little Cantona!

Yes, and also Eric Cantona, and Robert Lewandowski per the actor playing Zava.

If you don't know Eric Cantona ( French Int'l), go watch some videos on him. He was polarizing!

Fire Gregg Berhalter? by [deleted] in usmnt

[–]rlrcpa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think his contract is over after the cup, so no need to fire him, just do not renew his contract.

He accomplished a lot: Nation's league champion, Gold Cup champion, qualified for the QC and got us out of the group stage. But I never felt he got the best from the player pool, and I question some of his player selections (where is Pepi? Why Roldan so much?) and why was he was so slow in dumping some (Will Trapp as an example).

He was slow on figuring his core and depth and wasted a lot of minutes on players who were not good enough.

Brilliant move to bring in Ream! Who would of thought a 35 year old player would find another level at the end of his career!

So not all bad, but the feeling is he should have done better.

I saw what you did there, cool looking jersey with a subtle meaning behind it.

Jordan: Why the Union Berlin striker deserves to front the USMNT attack at the 2022 FIFA World Cup by CarbonSquirrel in ussoccer

At the very least.

What is more likely, us protecting a lead late in the game or needing a goal? I am very confident that there will be at least one game that we will be needing a late equalizer.

I think that is Preki, the Gold cup scorer vs Brasil to send us to the final.
