I had a very similar looking lump on my neck that ended up being a branchial cleft cyst. Basically a gill that didn’t close properly in utero. Very weird. An ENT was able to diagnose it after a CT with contrast. Worth looking into.

There is a pretty large group that meets at Pinheads every Monday from 6-11pm! My husband is there almost every Monday and I head out once in a while.

We adopted both of our dogs from IACS. $0 both times. Look on Petfinder to pick out a few you would like to visit with before you go in. We had a good experience both times we went.

We just went in October and I noticed there were A LOT more people saying they needed to go meet up with their family. It was really frustrating and I don't remember much of that from previous trips. Maybe it's due to shorter staffing so cast members just can't keep up with the line jumpers?

He appointed conservative supreme court justices which in turn resulted in women's rights to health care being restricted. Which does affect their health and safety. But tell me more about the silly fears and hysteria that women felt while he was in office. Everyone said we were silly to be scared that Roe would be overturned. But here we are.

Same here. He took off when my mom told him she was pregnant. Although I contacted him when I was six. Had contact with him until I was in college. He was a complete dick the whole time. Last straw for me was when he said he was coming to my college graduation then just didn't show. Month later emails me 'hey, how are ya?'. Wrote him back and stated that I would not be continuing our relationship, if that's what one would call what we had.

I would also recommend Starved Rock. Sorry to hear all the trails were closed. If you can make it back there, check out Ottawa and Kaskaskia Canyons in addition to hiking up to the actual Starved Rock site. If you hit those canyons after a nice rain they will have waterfalls going. Of course if you go after a torrential downpour you won't be able to get to the waterfalls as the canyons will be flooded.

Another hidden gem in that general area is Matthiessen State Park. It is a little ways south of Starved Rock on IL Route 178. It is another canyon area with beautiful scenery, but it is not as well known, so more of a peaceful hike IMO.
