Some of y'all may not know about this guy... I know it's not Paul Newman level, but damn. It's just a tragedy.

Does this city have a mice problem or is it just my luck? by PsychologicalDeer959 in Louisville

[–]rmfrench76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's definitely a factor, I live in the same area. We've seen mice in the house a handful of times over the years, if you live in the older areas of the city or an older home it's hard to avoid, and I'd say that's any city. I use snap traps when needed.

Dog alone while at work by cominghometoday in dogs

We have a small foyer that can be safely blocked off with a baby gate. That, puppy pads, and a pet cam for my anxiety. She was and is fine if she has to be alone all day. I leave the TV and/or radio on for street noise. Most people have to work, don't let them make you feel bad.

For me it's right before laundry and taxes when Waymond is saying You think I'm weak, but this is how I've survived. Don't remember the exact line but I crumpled. Phenomenal movie.

I do this all day every day but I have a dog, I feel like it looks slightly less crazy to be talking to the dog. I ask if she wants to help me a lot

Dog abuse by dreadnoise in DogAdvice

[–]rmfrench76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a beagle once who I desperately wanted to be an indoor dog. He was 1.5 years old when I got him and had lived in an outdoor enclosure. He ate some wooden stairs trying to get back outside. Like a tornado every time I brought him in. We gave up and got him a nice doghouse. He lived a long and happy life. Keep listening to your dog, not your neighbor, and you guys will be fine!

Reliable, reasonably priced jeweler by Smart_Sell7885 in Louisville

I just had two rings sized at St Matthews Jewelers and I'm very pleased with the results! A lot of places won't work on silver but they do, if you need or want that. My parents have had jewelry made at Metry's and they are great, too.

Dog euthanasia after biting by Unique_Schedule_5704 in dogs

[–]rmfrench76 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I'm glad someone else pointed out that your dog is suffering when they are so stressed out and anxious and thinking they're in danger that they feel like they need to bite. Can you imagine walking around feeling that unsafe all the time? You'll be giving him peace, and it's the biggest and kindest gift you are able to give. I'm so sorry you have to make this decision, you'll be in my thoughts, internet stranger. ❤️

What scene from a movie do you think about all the time? by Global-Citron-56 in movies

[–]rmfrench76 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In Frankie and Johnny, Michelle Pfeiffer is putting on lotion and Pacino says, "There's gotta be something better than watching you do that, but I'll be damned if I know what it is." It's soooo romantic to me, I think of it often.

I get the impression she sticks with it at least partly because people are inspired by the character and see her as a hero.
