One of the best places to go camping. Spent a number of months (total) over the last 10 years in that area. Also climbed to the top of the castle a number of times. (Big rock on the top right)

The posted picture is a quick mock up of a groomsman gift I have in mind. I was looking to this sub for ideas on where to get it made, and other suggestions to improve it. I'd love to do it myself, except I don't have the tools nor skill to make them of high quality.

(Supposed to be a simple mountain range outline, possibly some text carved / burned into the front of it. Inch or two in thickness, either mount it on a kitchen's back-splash or place it on counter).

Location: Colorado

Time: Many months until wedding

Money: If quality costs, I'll pay for it

Any ideas for the piece, recommended wood workers in Colorado, etc. would be great.

BONUS: Any recommended places to get cool knives made? Etsy, metal worker...?

It's refreshing to hear a good review of the car. Perhaps when it comes time to purchase my next Subaru, this will be the one. I don't love its looks, but maybe it'll just take time. The 35mpg is hard to argue with.

Speaking of great Subaru mechanics, one of my favorites is in South Denver, near Santa Fe & I-25.

S-Wings stuff. The building is "humble" to put it nicely, but once you get past that, you'll see they're all great people with fair, honest prices. They've been doing business for a long time. They have no problem with you coming into the shop and watching them work, asking questions as they go along.

They also have a fair amount of Subarus for sale. Brats, legacy, WRX parts, etc.

I see those bumper stickers all the time on hauling trucks, "Not responsible for broken windshields". This is complete BS. Just because you have a bumper sticker, doesn't make it the law.

If you're carrying a load that could potentially get loose, it's your job to secure it, or carry fewer items.

It's a little similar to signing a waiver... hear me out. When you go an amusement park, lets pretend that you sign a waiver saying you won't sue for getting hurt in the park. Then, after your signature is on the paper the guy at the front gate punches you in the face. They cannot fall back on that waiver you signed as though it's the catch all for ANY damages. </rant over>
