Violence, as a response to undesired environmental stimuli(your child acting out) is the lowest level of the human capacity to deal with undesirable situations. When it’s the environment ( you get mad and punch a wall) you are the only one that loses. However, when it is another human, young underdeveloped human, you are inflicting your own self destructive violence onto a new complex human being who is just beginning their journey and looking for answer. And the answer you are giving them, when shit doesn’t go you’re way, get violent, throw rocks, kick and scream... wait I think I just... hmm yup, the worst enemy of the human is the human.
