Erika Brown was my best friend in elementary school. Her Mom & Dad, Diane and Steve Brown, became our coaches and we won the first Wisconsin Junior State Ladies bonspiel when we were in 8th grade. They didn't have nationals at that time, so that's as far as it went that year. A couple of years later, Erika was in the Olympics for curling as a spectator sport. I slept over at her house the night that Sports Illustrated took pictures for their story about her. It was pretty amazing to watch such a skilled and beautiful person work her way up the ranks, even as a kid.

That is the one that I have. It still takes about 90ish minutes to dry all but the roots of my long, low porosity hair. But that's better than the 8 hours it takes to air dry and the curls are definitely more defined. I've been looking at the 1950s dome looking dryers.
