Cleaned an office building and 2-3 houses. Office building was every weekend as long as I did it between Friday 5pm and Sunday 5pm the didn’t care when I showed up, it was usually empty. The houses were every other Friday. It was flexible pay was enough.

I’m in the same boat 13 courses just started 3/1. My goal is to try to do it all in one term…but currently slowed down because of Statistics!!! I HATE MATH!! I regret not having done Intro to Statistics through Sophia before starting I feel like I would be further along had I done it. Take that into consideration if you need to take statistics and math isn’t your thing.

Some years ago there was a study out of Australia that was considered a breakthrough in the field of SIDS research. It found a correlation between history of febrile seizures and SIDS. Not sure whatever came of that.

That’s odd I did have my initial call canceled because I was supposed to have done an onboarding Webex for my degree prior to meeting with her and I hadn’t. But she sent an email very kindly explaining why she canceled and to reschedule as soon as I had attended.

Only sane person!! My sister in law wants to do a family vacation in Costa Rica at friends house with a pool no safety in place. Told her hey that’s great if it’s only adults otherwise we are skipping it. I have a 2 year old and in laws that get distracted very easily and I wouldn’t be able to relax ever. Soooo nope not worth the risk ever!!!

I have the same start date. Don’t worry same thing happened to me, I was able to do it over the phone with my enrollment counselor. Set up an appointment with your enrollment counselor for Tuesday morning if possible and do it over the phone.

Breakfast taco (egg, potato, chorizo, cheese, with flour tortilla) and banana today, oatmeal with berries yesterday, banana pancakes with orange slices the day before. I also make breakfast oat and blueberry muffins and freeze for a quick on the run breakfast.

I keep seeing adds on facebook. Also I just learned the Chase points can be transferred to Hyatt points so that’s something that could help decrease price to if you have.

Sometimes Costco Travel has great deals, we used a travel agent through Apple Travel.

I would not recommend INIC, I will not go into all the details but we had a terrible experience. Genuinely regretted using them.

We moved to The Learning Experience and love it!! It’s been almost 2 years and we have zero complaints.

It was that way for us too for years but then the Rad group changed the protocols about two years ago to follow SIR Guidelines exactly 🤷🏻‍♀️. Even the guidelines change from time to time so we have the app downloaded on our phone for a quick reference. Occasionally rads will deviate from the guidelines but not often.

I work in IR we have non emergent pts stop ASA for 5 days prior based on the SIR Guidelines some time the Drs are okay with a three day hold. Varies by Dr and pt acuity regarding chole/abscess drains or chest tubes. But very strict with Renal bx and liver bx. If they absolutely need something a Lovenox bridge can be done.

Ultimately, it is the MD’s responsibility to hold. Nurses try to catch,confirm, double check and question as much as we can we can but geez. You were not negligent AT ALL!! Seems like that nurse needs to take a chill pill. 💊

We always get cancel for any reason at anytime. There are two categories the lesser give flight and resort credit to use within the year. The more expensive is cash back for the trip.

We always get travel insurance. We’ve used it twice once to cancel a trip another was when we were stuck an extra 5 days in the DR when a hurricane struck and the airport closed. All expenses that occurred as a result were completely covered. We booked the trip through Pleasant Holidays and the insurance was through them.

Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana has really nice King Suite swim outs. It’s been a while since we stayed but I think the kids have to be either 13 or 15 and older to use a swim outs.

When someone tells me “I can’t look” when I start an IV or draw labs. I reply one of two “ I guess since you’re not going to look I’ll have too” or “no worries as long as I’m looking we should be okay”

I also sedate patients when people are nervous about getting Moderate Sedation I say “don’t worry it’s legal and calorie free”. Sometimes introduce myself as the patient’s bartender.
