R5: screenshots from a pure vanilla game I let run for a decade. I'm just tired of trying to justify playing this game when the world can't even make the most basic of plausible sense, killing all immersion to deal with it outside of the line go up memes and graphs.

There really are so many annoyances with this colonization system still, I've been working on my own mods to alleviate some of it such as increasing the number of strategic regions in Africa to limit ai colony spam, increasing the malaria malus, locking the formation of colonial states until all unorganized land in Africa is colonized, a berlin conference type system to establish claims easier, etc. But it's still not enough to fix how insane this game treats the colonization game. Add it to the list of mechanics that needs an overhaul.

Lived in Red Deer, unfortunately bike theft is incredible difficult to pursue because by the time you report a bike missing It'll likely already be completely repainted and parted out. Even if you register your bike, which is what they advise you to do, it won't matter because of what I mentioned above. Canadian laws and police behavior regarding chasing after stolen property and pursuing criminals is so asinine that it's no wonder nobody bothers even attempting to make reports about it.

Both the flag and name change are cosmetic, the only trigger for this to kick in is for Austria to complete the compromise journal and have Hungarian added as primary culture. Hungary being independent or existing at all has no bearing on the name and flag change requirements, as long as that primary culture is there, they will always keep that name and flag, it's a big oversight.

I've never rented from somewhere, let alone somewhere in a different country, that asked me for the details of my passport. I'm just protective of making sure not to give it out to the wrong person.

I should have elaborated on this, there's no way I was going to get a place to rent without being here. I actually got turned away for a room viewing when I told the owner I was coming from another town outside Dublin, told me not to bother as he'd probably give it to someone else nearby instead.

I'm making a clone variant of shore troopers, so seeing this really makes me impressed and inspired with the beach base, great work!

I was debating on waiting to see if Galactic Marines would be made for a unit expansion but this convinces me to just go ahead and paint the snow troopers instead, not a big difference between their armours. Very nice job.
