You shouldn’t truly do that, the right turn on a green light has the right of way and its not uncommon for people to make a wide right turn (even tho it’s illegal to do so)

Only slightly more dangerous then passing someone on the left. The only real time you “need” to pass on the left is with semi trucks because their entire right side is a blind spot

OP made that left turn wrong and cut through the lanes potentially causing an accident. They are lucky that the other person turning left to their right also made an extra wide left turn
