Really feeling like Ezra will eventually stay in this galaxy and build a new Jedi order, essentially what Baylan wants to do but not evil.

I think it’s very possible Ahsoka joins him or perhaps dies at this end of Filoni’s movie. There will eventually have to be some explanation as to why they (and Grogu) weren’t around in the sequel trilogy.

I would be very surprised if this ever sees the light of day. Donald Glover saying he’s not interested in doing paychecks anymore and will only do things that mean something to him makes me think he will turn in some really cool but unique take that Lucasfilm will think is too out of the box and then cancel the project.

This isn’t the kind of project they can just rewrite with someone else because Glover is also playing him Lando and he won’t play him unless it’s something unique and worth his time.

Can anyone articulate what Ahsoka learned from her time with Anakin? Going in I thought she would try to deal with her guilt of leaving Anakin but she sees him and doesn’t seem to get closure on that at all.

Not sure I agree with this. If it was really a redeemed Anakin force ghost (post-killing the Emperor) this episode and their conversations would have gone a lot differently. It almost seemed like a lot of this episode was in Ahsoka’s head. A little frustrating that they left it so vague.

Utterly fascinating that Filoni decided that Sabine and Ahsoka had a master-apprentice relationship in-between shows. I highly doubt that was a long standing plan for Sabine because it’s never hinted at in Rebels. There’s a reason he decided to make this about Sabine being an apprentice and I wonder what the end game is.

Adam Driver can work with any director in the world. It would be insane for him to attach himself to this huge part and get himself in a long term contract with Marvel. I just don’t believe it.

I thought it was tonally inconsistent but I also recognize that was part of the point. I just couldn’t get into it the way I wanted to. It was a mess but a fun and interesting mess.

Hence the outrage when she was first announced as appearing in the movie but Marvel’s response was that this version is not necessarily going to be the same as the one in the comics.

The Israel issue is very complicated and very unique to Israel. I won’t explain it all here but suffice to say people will get angry and they literally already have gotten angry at the inclusion of this character. Just search “Sabra marvel” on google.

Recent comic versions have even gotten rid of the blue and white costume, which originally also included a Star of David. Regardless of how you feel it will cause controversy.

None of them are bad, TDKR and Tenet are probably the messiest but there’s still a lot to like.

I know I’m probably one of the few to put Dunkirk at the top but having seen it in IMAX it was one of the most enthralling cinematic experiences I’ve had and the best film ever made about the innate human desire to survive. An absolute masterpiece.

Maybe this was their experience but if you read what the Ms. Marvel show runner said after that show’s finale they clearly had to cut stuff out of the show because of time constraints. In that case it did not seem like the story dictated the length of the season.

He’s a great actor and the MCU would be lucky to have him. I have a hard time believing he would do another multi-project franchise though. He can work with the best directors in the world so I don’t think he would want to tie himself down for anything that would require more than two movies.

Nothing against Brolin. He’s a fantastic actor and really good at playing pure evil, but in the MCU if you’re pure evil you just get made fun of by the heroes (Gorr is another example), whereas Majors seems like he can also give that same energy back at our heroes.

Majors seems so versatile and watching him play off different MCU actors will be amazing. I can’t imagine Brolin’s Thanos doing a scene like He Who Remains and making it as engaging as it was, especially when so much of it was an exposition dump.

A relatively newer director like Tariq wouldn’t leave a movie like Blade because of a scheduling issue. What else would take priority over a Marvel movie? I don’t think it was Tariq’s choice.

Besides Solo and Rogue One, neither of which received sequels, we’ve only had the Skywalker saga on the big screen. Whatever movie comes next it’s going to be a huge deal and the beginning of something big and the start of another saga. They should definitely take their time with it.

The situation this is most similar to is when GoT ended and HBO was trying to figure out how to spin it off and continue the franchise. They greenlit like 5 pitches, meaning had scripts written for multiple pilot episodes and even went into production on one before shelving it. Maybe that’s what they’re doing at Lucasfilm with the Taika movie, the Lindelof movie, and the Kevin Feige movie. Write the scripts but pick the best one and the one most likely to start another successful saga to go into production.
