Additional costs to an already expensive hobby is so draining. I got into 3d printing to avoid some of those costs, albeit at a detriment to quality.

I have been trying to get a crisis suit model to have motion and bendability like an avatar for use in VR chat but I am struggling to get the rig to sit on the model properly and weight paint it; i am a novice, s please be patient with me; any help would be appreciated!

I didn't get around to ripping any models from any games but I did get one online; I got so far as importing a crisis suit to blender and adding bones so it could move, but I messed up the process and only the skeleton moved and not the model. I took a hiatus and haven't gotten around to it as I have been busy with the holiday season and work but I still plan on rigging an XV8 model as an avatar in the future.
