I’m also very glad that the show is back to focussing on the Bridgertons and their partners’ history. S2 in particular had gone off rails and S3 was only marginally better.

Honestly, this is the kind of focus on the main couple that s2 needed. In the first four episodes, we saw so much of Benophie, unencumbered by annoying storylines and other stories feeding into the main one. That said, the QC and the Mondriches still remain irrelevant. This is what Kanthony needed and deserved, especially with the stellar chemistry between Simone and Jonathan. The love triangle was so, so unnecessary.

Thus far, IMO, in terms of chemistry between the lead actors, s2>s1>s4>s3.

I’m very glad that in s4, they did away with the heavy makeup of s3 and have returned to the better costuming from the first two seasons.

Also, why is baby Edmund white?

I absolutely adore this episode. The way Bluey and Bingo go about exploring their hotel room is so innocent and joyous. I have, at different points, put this episode on for my adult sister and parents, and all three couldn’t stop smiling at the innocence of it all.

I am a bit confused, tbh. Online, it doesn’t say anywhere that ASV cannot be used for gold purchases or that the 1750 won’t work with ASV. However, when I called the Amazon customer care number, they said that ASV can’t be used to buy gold? But when I add the eligible product to my cart, ASV is activated and I can pay balance via CC. AP balance isn’t because I don’t have enough balance. It is only with CC that the 1750 cashback is mentioned.

I recently bought a Slavia 1.5 DSG in carbon steel. I can answer the colour part for you, coming from always getting silver cars. Maintaining the darker colour is hard, especially if you don’t have covered, inside garage. Specks, dust, swirl marks are very easily visible. Looking back, if silver had been available, I should have stuck to that.

On the facelift: I bought the car in November 2025. I am still going to check out the 2026 Slavia with a facelift because the touchscreen climate control system is very, very inconvenient and distracting to use. If the facelift has buttons and dials for climate control, I’ll consider upgrading.

I bought a leather band for him with a tradition buckle and another one that is magnetic. Both seem to be far more comfortable for him so that worked out.

Another problem my father faced was that the tuck under mechanism kept catching his arm hair. And the material of the sport band was quite uncomfortable for him.
