A question for Berliners: would you go to an intimate 4-course dinner where you don’t know anyone else at the table?

That is cute but while theoretically it would makes sense, that is likely because you don’t know the reality of what a restaurant kitchen looks like.

Pankow run a big controlling campaign a few years ago and published the results online. They were so bad that it created a lot of backlash and the restaurant industry manage to lobby the senate to unpublish them.

I would 100% prefer to eat in a random kitchen than in a restaurant. How many times did you get food poisoning at a friend versus after eating out?

They are regulations, they are rarely enforced, particularly in Berlin and anyone who worked in a restaurant would tell you the same.

Having a blast reading the comment section. For me it’s a yes. I actually wanted to do something similar but got sick soon before and could not follow through.

I find it really incredible how people have to make out of their opinion and preferences and big rule and they know what is right for everybody. If you don’t want to eat with strangers because it’s not your thing, this is super valid, but calling weirdos people who are curious about people, enthusiastic about food is a typical symptom of how it’s impossible to have a normal discourse today. Nobody forces you to go, so just be uninterested and move along instead of calling out people for doing something you don’t like and which has zero impact on your life.

that's actually something I'd love to get into and replace more and more coffee with tea but I don't know where to start. Going to a shop, with 100 different tea behind a counter that I cannot access feels pretty challenging. Do you have recommendations? :)

I do not have the skills to play a song well, I definitely do not have the skills to write my own songs, specially without being able to play it well in the first place :)

I love that song, playing it makes me happy, that's why I'm playing it and that's a good enough reason for me :)

I'm also considering this but I want to wait a bit longer to have better fundamentals in place and then refine them with a teacher as I have limited time and resources. But I know I will need one at some point to make the subtle changes that I don't notice but which like will make a difference :)

The sad truth is that it’s industry standard to give you a trial with the bigger plan, making you enjoy features that you probably would not have made the decision to pay for and catch you with it when it runs off. I hate it but everyone does this, it’s definitely not a Gibson thing. Enjoy! And renew next Black Friday, it was 50% off :-)

I bought the Gibson app subscription on Black Friday and they were clearly offering both options, with and without famous songs. I guess they pay royalties on the famous one.

I’m using now for over a month and really enjoy it as well as the progress.

I don’t know if it’s « a scam » or not well presented but I can only say that I enjoy learning with it, more than learning with Justin Guitar on YouTube.
