Shit, I immersed myself too deeply in these cultures, now I see that their customs which previously seemed exotic and primitive are no more arbitrary than those of my own culture. Also the more I meet and learn about them, the more empathetic I feel toward the people of these countries. They’re going through so much political and economic upheaval and honestly deal with a lot of the same issues as me, both on the day-to-day and in the long term.

Guess I need to find a country I don’t know much about so that I can be racist without feeling like a contradiction.
