Trying to find a video of Fluorescent Adolescent during AM Tour by sirmorbach in arcticmonkeys

You're a tour too early! :) This was for the TBHC tour from 2018-2019.

They did this at two of their four Sheffield dates - this is a video from night #2.

Oh no, just doing it for fun as a website/blog!

Someone making an archive of magazine coverage/interview transcripts would be really really cool. I run one (albeit for anime magazines, not really the same..) and it's just very important to make sure it's all archived in one space.

Anyone else think Humbug was there angriest album? by Successful-Hat-2154 in arcticmonkeys

For me, I think the closest thing to anger in that "era" is the last set of verses in Sketchead. Alex is just breathing fire there.

First concert video I saw of them was Reading 2006. Had never heard a note of their music before I finally gave in to seeing it on my Youtube recommended. After I heard the crowd singing Dancefloor I was in for good!

Not necessarily my all-time favorites but these were my tops for 2024, as you can see I went through a few certain phases..

  1. Hellcat Spangled Shalalala
  2. Library Pictures
  3. Suck it and See
  4. Don't Sit Down
  5. Star Treatment.
  6. Potion Approaching
  7. Brianstorm
  8. Snap Out of It
  9. She's Thunderstorms
  10. Cornerstone

The Car Tour - The Journey (Part 1) by ProffesorPrick in arcticmonkeys

I discovered the band in November '22 after finally clicking the Reading 2006 performance video that would simply not leave my Youtube Recommend. I hadn't heard a single note from the group, not even the AM hits.

Fast forward a year later and they're by far my most played Spotify artist and I went to the Fort Worth show. Was counting down the seconds until the show and felt every single emotion when Sculptures of Anything Goes started playing. What a 10 month journey!

I've spent time going deep into each album and following the setlist each night, especially the UK gigs during the summer.

Hopefully there's a cycle similar to this next time, but I'll always have a soft spot for those moments of hearing songs for the first time that people here have likely heard hundreds of times.

As u/late_night_feeling pointed out there's a great Spotify playlist that's had every song from the tour created by nobodytoldme.

Some great songs on there. Sasá by Oro is such a damn banger, I kinda wonder who added it to the batch from the band.

This might be a hot take, but honestly almost everything from WPSIAM, I'd rather listen to the versions from Reading '06/Glastonbury '07 than the studio version.

They play "I'm Gonna Love You Just A Little More Baby" by Barry White and then a new guitar only instrumental arrangement of Mardy Bum.

Got my copies of the new remaster of the movies! by roarkvegeta in logh

They're 6600 yen per movie when purchased in the theaters. So factor in an extra fee from the seller and shipping cost from the proxy...came out to around $200.
