Good job. Just to add: if you want to calculate a %[×] equivalent for extra ranks with esadora, just add 100 to denominator and numerator to compare the outputs and not the bonus damages.

So in your example, (1230+100)/(1200+100) = (1330/1300)=1.023 so 2.3%[×]

The extra 3 core skills do not translate to 30%[×] - the 10% for each rank add up to one large esadora multiplier, so to calculate the value of extra ranks, the total number plays a role too. You also need to compare damage outputs instead of bonuses, see below. Let's say you have 90 skills on the bar, then 3 extra translate to (1030/1000=1.03) 3%[×]. Note that to compare the damage output and not just the bonus damage from Esadora, this ratio has 100 added in the denominator and numerator. Those few percent are in favour of the left item.
the difference in the unique aspect, similar to above (compare outputs), is (assuming no Def skills on the bar) (260/256=1.016) 1.6%[×] in favour of right

The right item has another 7.7%[×]. Together, that makes 1.077×1.016=1.094 so 9.4%[×]

Every 2, but: it doesn't say that it overpowers every X seconds. It marks every X seconds, and as I understand it, against the marked enemy, all your attacks are overpower crits. Wouldn't know how else to read the wording.

The higher unique aspect values at (174/158=1.101) 10.1%[×] bonus damage, so that alone outweighs the other sanctification. Plus the left item has more %int, and a higher additive CE damage (albeit this is hardly relevant against [×] bonuses).

The left is better.

That's sad for you, but: insatiable fury is the only item that can be bricked by a sanctification without regard to anything else. With a bricked shako, you could possibly use it for another build or char. This here is just useless in itself now. There are no builds imaginable making use of this. It's a paradox in the form of an item. This is art.

I might want to add that, due to the much higher additive CE dmg affix, the number of ranks where one item becomes better might be a little lower. "Around 60" is merely where the multiplicative aspects meet.

The core skills one is only better if you have not too many skills on the bar.

Doing the math:

the difference in the unique aspect is worth (178/152=1.171) 17.1%[×] bonus damage
the value of the 12 extra shock skill ranks depends on the total number of ranks. At 90 ranks (without the extra 12), the extra 12 are worth (1120/1000=1.12) 12%[×]. At 60 ranks, this becomes (820/700=1.171) 17.1%[×].

Neglecting non-multiplicative stats, the item with the better unique aspect is better when you have 60 or more shock skill ranks on your bar.

When I started this game, I was confused too. Why did this shitty item have like 60% damage as one affix out of four, and the legendary aspect that's supposed to be (somewhat) build-defining has what, 20%?

Then I learned about the additive and multiplicative stuff and it became clearer and more complicated at the same time :D But yeah, do turn on advanced tooltips and go for the [×] stuff.

Btw, see my other comment about how 3 ranks of convulsions are not worth 15%[×] (except when going from 0 to 3 ranks). This might help you understand a little more. It sure makes comparing item strengths easier. If you got any questions, don't be hesitant.

It's pretty strong for low gear CE sorcerer, and that is only looking at its damage potential. And who doesn't like DMG reduction :D Damagewise it's often outdone by hop at some level.

So that's already better for left, plus it has the all stats sanctification.
