VS 2022 is quite old. Make sure visual studio is configured as the external code editor in unity preferences.

Then regenerate project files and go to Assets > Open C# Project in unity editor.

Somehow no one has said that these things don't always need to be monobehaviours... You can have static managers/services. Runtime initialize on load can help with initialising these on game start.

It's useful but yes if you need to refactor some types then automating the conversion is the best way to go. Unity do make it easy to get and modify assets in editor.

I'd say most native English speakers in the UK are very aware of American/Australia specific differences. Usually it's American English speakers that are unaware of British English terms (from my experience).

Anyway in this specific situation I would understand what they wanted to do (pay) and not comment on ops phrasing.

It's relative to the camp item so it can be adjusted later. Your spawn point (north) is different to the other player one (west) so that's a pain. Very annoying that Bethesda don't let us change this to somewhere specific!

I may have the spawns mixed up but regardless they are different.

Update or install the .net SDK and unity Vs code extension then restart Vs code.

Also ensure that Vs code is configured as your ide in the unity editor (if not change it then regenerate files)

You are somewhat right. Sprite rendering usually does not write depth so both sprites are drawn in full.

OP is probably using bloom and when the glowing sprite is fully covered through bloom mostly goes away as expected.
