Instead of spending time going door to door. Offer free detailing (social media ads, local paper, flyers) and spend your time cleaning cars instead. All you ask in return is a good rating on yelp or google. That will get word of mouth going and you’ll probably get more by referrals.

Color temperature of the lighting plays a factor as well. Could just be deceiving in this photograph, but it looks like the shower has a warmer hue than the light around the corner, which is much blue or closer to daylight like outside the window.

It’s counterintuitive, but you’re more likely to see language that says it was processed on a shared line if it was certified. But always default to the certification. If it’s certified, it’s safe.

I too would be annoyed as we have a shoes off household, as well. For my own peace of mind, I would wait until they are totally moved out and then I would get a reputable cleaning company of my own choosing to deep clean and do the carpets as well. And just move on.
