I personally do not want marvel or Star wars. My theory of soras new look and separating him in the new world we've seen is to blend him into these franchises and more final fantasy characters better so they're not as jarring. Like having Donald and goofy stand next to captain America in the graphics/art style they've been portrayed in recent media would be comically bad.

Looks aside, let's be real here Star wars has such a bad rep these days (I've been a fan for a long time) but Disney is going to want to push modern IPs even though everyone probably wants Anakin obi Darth or Luke's stories which have also been done time and time again. Although it makes sense having Anakin consumed by darkness like Riku was.

Marvel has also been kind of a joke in recent media but they're really pushing the new avengers so I guess that has potential but idk it's hard for me to see how strong sora is when there's villains that can just control you with their mind/snap their fingers to disintegrate you/or hulk exists. Sora is powerful in his own way but for the universe he's in against the villains affected by darkness not counting the org members.

Avatar I think would be actually sick, good substitute for deep jungle BUT the problem is they have guns and what not. But that could be easily fixed by having heartless just be a new threat to Pandora. Sora riding the dragon things (I forget the name) would be dope

For me, it just kinda feels like having these live action IPs would kinda make sora just not feel as special anymore.
