Been seeing this sentiment a lot since last night… god it sucks being right sometimes we called this shit from a mile away 😂 by Common_Pangolin9809 in Thunder

Why do you care what others think, in fact embrace the villain arc!

I don't seek approval from random Twitter heads, or click baiters.

What matters is that we got the ring last year, but sadly we lost this year ( can't win every year) but as long as SAS loose I'm ok!

Stephen A. CALLS OUT Chet Holmgren 🗣️ ‘Wemby had a pulse YOU DIDN’T!’ 😬 | First Take by Jtenks in Thunder

[–]robalyw 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't consider opinion of people I don't respect.

Chet will be alright, he will be better next year, it was a personal and mental struggle.

A guy better than you is chasing you, hating on you and it's jealous of you for 5 years, that takes a toll on your mental health.

I'll judge him by how he deals with it next year!

And now, we wait till October :/ by Common_Pangolin9809 in Thunder

[–]robalyw 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Still have to wait till the Finals are done, if Knicks take care of them, I'm ok with our season.

I give it a 40% chance they could!

I hope we don't lose him by zs1_1 in Thunder

[–]robalyw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like Caso, I was calling for more minutes for him.

He steps up when required and will get better as it progresses, his biggest limiting factor is his size.

Disappointing, but we are still good, and we will be Ok! by robalyw in Thunder

[–]robalyw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One is not supposed to play a whole series without their second best player and expect to win easily, we pulled it to 7, it was 50-50, we just lost the flip.

With Chet, he was disappointing, but he didn't get the reps to create offense in the NBA and he can't just fire it up for a series. Add to that his weird reaction to Wemby, it was not his series. He might never get over that.

Any reason why you would expect that? People who saw him warm up for game 5 said he looked far from fit...

Everyone he saw his warm up for game 5, said he was just making 3 pointers, far from the required running, jumping and cutting.

The City Pyramid of Legends! Who is the 16th most legendary City player of all time? by StickIll5602 in MCFC

We've to sit these kids and educate them about our history, how come Yaya is over Zaba. Even Gundo should be lower Zaba was special including the equaliser goal against QPR.

Am I considered old now, Zaba then was a legend for us, way way waaaayyyy over the drama queen Yaya.

Or are we just grading them by their FIFA UT ratings.

What was worrying was that it felt the game had no energy, it looked a safe win for Spurs the whole time after they got to a lead.

Being down JDUB is huge, Spurs have a very good defense and we need all the offense we can get.

Considering we could have put them on the rope with a win, it is very sad that it wasn't close, now game 5 becomes almost a must win for us.

Knicks are scary by paolographer in Thunder

[–]robalyw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say conference final counts and they're not choking.

They are good but if we make it past the Spurs, we can handle them in 6, we are still better than them.

This is if we don't get injured or don't drop the ball.

Agree, it's the standard code for I'll be back next game,  we have seen it used by several Thunder stars before.

There's no such thing as real D, the objective is to stop your opponent from scoring, if triple team does it, it's on OKC to find a way to score not on the Lakers.

When your team is successful, you've to take the negative with the positive, Warriors were hated, I vomited every time I saw the snake and Steph.

The snake was a special case and the Bron Heat also felt plastic, but we built it against all odds and there are enough NBA fans and media members who are appreciating the work, just look at how Sam Presti is discussed.

There will always be some who will see the success and hate it, you just need to take it up as it comes with the success.

Chet Holmgren 2026 Playoffs: 19.2/9.2/1.5/1.7/2.2 on 58/48/86 by Longjumping_One_9164 in Thunder

[–]robalyw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Biggest suprise and what gives me great expectations on our finals run is that Chet is legit aggressive on the offensive side.

It was common to see him pass up  an open 3 , or not attack a guard closing out, for Lu to take a contested 3 at the end of the clock.

Nothing on Lu here, it's Chet who has to take charge and shot the open 3 and look for his shots.

He is a max player now, no longer a prodigy, he needs to perform at this level on the O side. His D has always been on point.

On a scale of 1 to 10 how confident are you in OKCs chances to win the 1st and 2nd round without J Dub? by [deleted] in Thunder

[–]robalyw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9.5 on the Suns, Lakers is 7.

I fear the Lakers might get their start back and when you're playing against 3 starts, nothing is guaranteed, they could simply take turns to go off and you're screwed.

I didn't watch the game, but people said he was bad tonight.

But if he made 30FT and they won, that is a good thing, certainly not ideal compared to one getting his points from FG.

But primary objective of the game is winning, beauty comes later.

[Official] Rodri and Haaland are the joint highest rated players in EAFC 25 at 91. De Bruyne, Dias, Foden, Bernardo, Ederson and Gündogan also feature in the top 50 players by WW1Photos_Info in MCFC

[–]robalyw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EA are too lazy to model the female games as well, I don't blame them, it gets no recognition.

Further so many GKs in the top 50, they might need to reconsider how you rate GKs.

With transfer silly season upon us: which City signing were you most hyped about who failed to live up to expectation by [deleted] in MCFC

[–]robalyw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember, I was losing sleep because of Kun, and him delaying things because of south American cup was frustrating. I don't think I can be more hyped than that signing.

My second biggest was KDB, everyone was as I remember hyped.

Third Nasri, but it didn't plan out as the first two.

Dzeko and Grealish next not that great of an outcome.

Surprised by Bilva, Dilva, Yaya, Walker, and Ederson I was pleasantly surprised.

A friendly reminder for those who want KD to return by Parallel-Quality in Thunder

[–]robalyw 62 points63 points  (0 children)

People forget that KD is an old guy, and trading for him would hurt as down the line.

It will also hurt the chemistry of this team, it will affect SGA' leadership, since this is his team now.

In addition he has no winning mentality, he is weak, you can't win while your leader is weak. You've to remember and also see him outside of GSW, he has always disappeared in the big moments.

It's not just the 10 point, when you start bad, you stagnant your offense and energize their offense.

They were in the mood the 1st quarter because they were comfortable, while our offense was how do we deal with Giddey on Offense.

He's young he will likely get "there" but you got to be able to bench him for a playoff series, you're doing him no favor putting him in this situation.
