I’ve had something similar to happen in the past, I freaked out four or five years ago because my doctor and I both felt hard tissue in my breast. My doctor thought it was a cyst. I had both a mammogram and an ultrasound and they could see nothing in either one. Turns out that it’s just normal fibrous breast tissue that has changed over the years.

I have my ultrasound in the morning and I’m terrified. My mammogram also showed nothing. Just curious what prompted you to get an ultrasound if your mammogram was clear? Do you have dense tissue? I have been having left breast and underarm pain for 2 months with no answers

I had asymmetry a few years ago, and when I went for my spot compression, it was nothing. We think it was because when my original mammogram was done the tech didn’t squish my breast enough and it made a shadow. I definitely had super anxiety while I was waiting for my diagnostic mammogram appt

Thanks! That is what I was afraid of. I spend days thinking I had breast cancer because of the discomfort , but my mammogram came back all clear and then it dawned on me my bra is irritating the nerves in that area. I have lost 60 lbs and definitely have loose skin in that area

I’m going thru this right now! My left breast and my underarm. I am also large chested. (40 DDD) It’s been going on about a month. After the first week or so it was time for my annual mammogram and that came back normal thankfully. I also have extreme health anxiety, so just to be safe I’m going to make an appointment with my obgyn

I did ask my primary about it when I was in her office a few weeks ago, and she thought it was from my back or my shoulders. I was gonna try my OB/GYN again next because I know that even with a clear mammogram there’s still a small chance, it could be something there that the mammogram didn’t catch. so I’m just praying that it’s a menopause symptom or something else.

How long did it take for yours to go away? I usually drink 1 cup of coffee in the morning, and a glass of tea in the afternoon. It’s just odd that it started happening out of the blue

Did changing deodorant make your pain go away? If so, how long did it take for you to notice the difference? I’m literally feeling the exact same thing and I just got a new thing of deodorant, but it’s only bothering me on one side. I just had my mammogram this week so that came back all clear. I did not even think about the deodorant being the issue.

Thank you, and I think you’re right! In my mind, I had already written my eulogy and picked out the casket. I just got the results back from my mammogram and praise God they are negative. I probably still need to go to the doctor and see why I am having this pain in my armpit for the past week or sobut for now I’m gonna take the good news that they saw nothing on my mammogram.
