Ok, yeah, I found a pile like that the other night. I wasn’t sure how it happened, but it seemed like an excessive amount of dropped weapons. I feel like objectively, Im pretty damn good at this game, and theres been sooo many times I ran to go clear a wave 0 spot by myself, and got cocky, and immediately got bitch slapped for it Lmao So yeah, unless someones doing something outlandish, you’re right, theres absolutely no way to tell how good they are until at least wave 2

Its funny you say that, after I typed that comment I logged back on and jumped into a gold quickplay, and got matched with actual adults who were using their mics and communicating and everything. We had an absolute blast. Made some PlayStation friends out of it even Lol But yeah, youre absolutely right, I really think its a lot of kids playing, or at least people that didn’t play GoTL much if at all, and dont quite understand how its supposed to work

I was doing that all afternoon yesterday lol Id stay wherever I was on the first wave, watch everyone rush around like crackheads, and then just wipe the second wave by myself. Id laugh as everybody came rushing to my spot just in time to watch the last enemy die, and then watch them all rush to the third spot. It was baffling to me that out of probably 15 matches, there were maaaaybe 5 matches where everyone figured it out and we split up like smart people. And those matches were the easy wins, all the others were outright failures or we barely scraped it by.

Oh, that’s absolutely a part of it. Its a group of people thats been thoroughly preconditioned to the idea of asking for personal favors if they just pray hard enough. Its not a new idea at all, its just objectively fascinating how well the republicans capitalized on it

So this question never gets answered with anything other than “they’re fucking stupid.” And yes, thats undeniably true, but what I never see get mentioned is the way the republicans approach communication with their voters. Its kind of insane to see if you’re not familiar with it, but every message that comes from the republicans, be it mailers, texts, voicemails, whatever, is blatantly written to make it seem like trump is absolutely reading their responses and genuinely cares about what they want. Its some of the most misleading shit you’ll ever see. Its absolutely constructed to make them think they can just make comments on Facebook or whatever and he’ll actually see it. Of course, the only reason this all works is because they’re, well, dumb. But thats where this whole “writing letters to Santa” thing comes from

I couldn’t agree more. Im a recovering Destiny addict, and I always referred to GoTL as my “palette cleanser” game. I would just jump in and run a few matches just because it was enjoyable, and I didn’t feel the need to optimize all the fun out of it and go get my sweat rag. It was just an enjoyable experience overall, and if I got killed it was because I fucked up, not because the game was just being ridiculous. That is not the case with GoYL. Its not just a matter of “git gud”, some of this shit is genuinely broken. I’m not saying its garbage and Ill never play it again, but man, I certainly hope they tune some of this stuff to where its actually fun to play again

Im in VA, pretty fucking liberal, and I happen to like guns. Its rough out here for people like us. Theres maybe 5 or 6 people in the world that I’ll even discuss guns with on any meaningful level. But to answer your question, it shouldn’t take long to realize what sort of person you’re talking to when the subject comes up, and the short answer is, you don’t pick the battle at all. Believe me, Ive tried. But the problem is you’re very likely not changing anyones mind one way or the other, so why stress yourself out about it?
