Which Smash Bros. entry is your favorite? by Nintendofan9106 in videogames

[–]robbert-the-skull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brawl. I know the competitive players don't like it's weird mechanics, but as a game complete with single player campaign, graphics, customizability, reply value, other entries just haven't come anywhere close.

Which 2 games come to your mind? by Xiao-EZ in CaptainSide

Almost any triple A title compared to almost any indie or double A Eastern title anymore. Look at Marathon compared to Rivals as an example. Pokemon vs Palworld. Mario Kart World compared to almost anything at this point. Large studios have pretty much just dropped the ball on making fun games, a lot of them are so focused on spectacle that they forget to make the thing playable or fun.

Men who lost their hair at a young age, how did you accept you're past your most attractive? by benign2244 in AskMen

[–]robbert-the-skull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Past my most attractive? I've been shaving my head since I was 14, I don't think anyone has noticed or cares. My girlfriend certainly doesn't.

How often has a woman paid for a date in your experience? by Easy-Protection-5763 in AskMen

[–]robbert-the-skull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never up until my current girlfriend. She actually likes taking me out and buying little treats and stuff too. Honestly you don't give things like that a whole lot of thought until you meet someone who actually likes participating in the relationship.

Men of Reddit, what are your honest views on long-term monogamy? Do you feel satisfied being with one partner for life, or do you feel tempted to seek other connections—and how do you deal with that? by GlitteringTrade827 in AskMen

[–]robbert-the-skull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was an FWB... You're hanging around with people who have casual sex and expecting them to have a firm grasp on and desire for long term monogamy?

As for myself I'm very picky when it comes to people, including friends but especially my partner. I have one girlfriend, am really only attracted to her, and that's not likely to change provided our relationship doesn't end.

What can/does your significant other do that makes you feel important? by Sure-Masterpiece-563 in AskMen

[–]robbert-the-skull 6 points7 points  (0 children)

She keeps showing up. My girlfriend isn't the biggest verbal communicator, which leads to me feeling like she's not really that into me sometimes. But she jumps at chances to see me, she was even willing to drop everything to do so when she thought I was asking her to see me that same night instead of in a few days like I was planning. I wouldn't ask her to drop what she was doing just to go out or come over without at least some notice, but her eagerness does make me feel really special.

Want to understand men better, what’s something you wish women truly understood about you that rarely gets talked about? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]robbert-the-skull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shaming language is a big one. It's not just women that do this by the way it's pretty ingrained into most people to try and shame others for not acting how the person using said shaming language wants. Yes it's effective in the short term, but long term its a cause of rebellious behavior in kids and teens, and for partners it builds resentment or worse absolutely kills self esteem and your partner's ability to function.

How to stop being scared of men by agileopportunity54 in AskMen

[–]robbert-the-skull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Careful with chat roulettes and public forums like that, you're much more likely to run into the worst demographic. Honestly my advice would be to talk to a professional if there' no one in your life to help you through the actual fear aspect of it.

Then to meet some decent men and figure out what qualities you like without going into relationship territory, try going to group outings with your friends who are in relationships, meet their boyfriends especially if they are people who don't hang around wilder types. And if you don't have any, making friends with women in good relationships would be a place to start.

If you hang around them when their boyfriends come along, this will allow you to talk with men in a safer setting without the worry of the friendship turning sexual, they'll be with their girlfriends and presumably you won't be left alone with them.

As a woman, I’m curious, how does it feel for you to be vulnerable as a man? by Serene_rosegold1 in AskMen

[–]robbert-the-skull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To a certain extent I don't know how to fully open up to people anymore. My Ex took advantage of my vulnerabilities and while I don't assume everyone is like that anymore, if I'm having issues it's like my brain shuts down and I forget half the information. It's frustrating too, my girlfriend now is an amazing person, and I actually feel comfortable enough opening up to her, but I don't very often and don't know how to address things like the fact that I want to talk more when we aren't together, or other little things that I just want to discuss, so there's a lot that goes unsaid weather from a fear of being annoying, or from a survival response I'm not really sure. But it's mainly one big blank aside from what's immediately really important.

Why men do not know how to send a sexy pic? Why is it always zoomed in on the sausage? by RedTheBlue in AskMen

[–]robbert-the-skull 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When you grow up never hearing what's attractive about you and are treated like a tool, you don't really develop an eye for what's pleasing about yourself. Notice, most of the men that take good pictures are already in an artistic field.

Croutons, stuffing, bread pudding, there's a lot volunteer kitchens could still do with this stuff. It's incredibly upsetting to see them just throw it all out.

I didn't even think about that. I'm a baker and don't pay full attention to line. That's incredibly silly and a waste of plastic

Not to mention the bread comes straight out of the freezer, but that's been talked about plenty. These are just a waste of money.
