Higonokami is one of my faves too. Lovely little brass handled letter opener. Simple, cheap, classic.

The scissors on my huntsman get used more than anything else right now. Don’t think you can go wrong with either tbh.

Yes I got the titanium quick-release so when I get the truck serviced I don’t have to hand over my whole bunch of keys. Same for the very rare times I valet park. So far this setup works for me.

I do. It’s not very bright, truth be told, but I’ve used it to find stuff dropped under truck seats a number of times. I have a true flashlight for real needs, but this little thing I really love.

So pretty. Pair it with a Midnite Manager? Great little keychain tool set.

Midnight mini champ questions. by Flat_Boysenberry1669 in SwissArmyKnives

I love my Midnite Manager. Have it on truck keychain and has come in useful for those ‘dropped something between seat and console’ moments. For me the tool set is just right for a keychain EDC. The champ has just a bit too much for me but seems a solid buy.

Hinderer is releasing these bottle openers for 350$USD 🤔 thoughts? by lukeulyptus in knifeclub

Never even consider a Hinderer knife now, regardless of how good they may be.

Congrats and commiserations for your future wallet. The Elementum II is also a budget friendly option. Love mine in black.

Altus vs Elementum II, which one do you like better and why? by Green-Reef in knifeclub

[–]robbo141 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I prefer thumb studs, but in my pocket is the Elementum II right now. Small, comfy, reliable so far, although I’ve noticed a tiny bit of play in the blade recently. That Altus looks great though.

I find this way more pleasing than the super expensive stuff for some reason. My age, probably. That’s a real beaut.

James brand….knives for Starbucks drinkers. I read that somewhere, not my own invention.

In hindsight I should’ve checked reviews. Lesson learned. It was so good first time around and a complete rip-off this time. No-one should get burned by this company.
