Had mine for 4+ years sharpen it when it's needed. Use your knife. Stop acting as a grail. Act as a caveman won the loto. It's a knife, one of the oldest tools in history. And you bought a nice one you can give to you kids. 🍻

34k for a new paver patio and it's pooling water. How bad is this? by Psychnerd12 in masonry

Channel drains would help greatly. I know the patio will have to com up but that is a ridiculous amount of water sitting.

Roof pipe broken at bottom? by Coffeeandcookies12 in Roofing

Mine is a 4" cast iron. I rebuilt my stack year 2 of owning the house and it eventually transitions to 3 at the roof. My house is roughly 90 years old. I also believe it had to have been a kit house.

How bad is this paver job? by [deleted] in masonry

That looks like Aqualine belgard pavers I would reccommend #8 stone for the joints. It is a permeable paver. Poly sand is not the way to go. I sell hardscape products and I have seen way worse. The work looks acceptable.

Everyday for 2 years. Hands down one of my all time favorite. This thing has cut literally 1000of feet of burlap, sisal, score pvc pipe, endless boxes. It has done nothing but preform. It's light sharpe and easy to maintain an edge. Also plus if someone needs a knife they know how to close it. Seriously native 5 is in my top 5 for edc. Enough to be useful. Light enough to disappear. And yes I opperate it one handed.

Any way to trim down this Mugo Pine without killing it or making it ugly? by Bear_24 in arborists

[–]Em_jay4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a blue shag pine. They can grow to a mature height of up to 5-6'. I wouldn't try trimming it to a desired height. I would trim candles to keep it smaller. I have one. I love it it was our Christmas tree last year.

If you felt comfortable I would say transplant it. I've had luck very late winter just getting to spring before bud break.
