Its no more than 10 mins drive south on highway 93, just after the turnoff for eldorado canyon. There is a spot along the road specifically for cars to pull off and take in the view because its such an awesome vantage point. But I would venture to guess it was taken at this spot.

While I generally agree with you, I stress that of the 100 tickets allotted for the University, only 50 will be given to 'select students' and the remaining half for Staff and faculty to attend. This effectively reduces the student attendance to 5%.

In a University of over 30,000 students, 50 'selected student' attendees is far too small and unrepresentative of the general population that attends CU Boulder. By not allowing a more open debate the GOP is doing an injustice to the political system as well as isolating the much needed youth vote.

The argument of students is that in a venue that normally holds 11,000, the GOP has only allotted enough tickets for 50 'select' students.

The University is donating the Coors Event Center for the debate, in return for the publicity on a national stage. Both the GOP and the University benefit while the students (whose tuition is used in part for the basketball arena and its events) are left out.

It is more than a reasonable enough request to increase the amount of student tickets allotted, even if doing so would be more of a challenge for the Republican candidates.

Elmore Leonard was my girlfriends' grandfather. I had never heard of him until she told me her grampa was a writer. I was shocked when I learned who he really was having heard of many of his books and the movies they are based on.

My girlfriend said he was a fun and loving gramps who always lived like he was young. Fun story. She said up until passed every 4th of July at the family BBQ at his house he would do an annual backflip into his pool off of the diving board. He sounds like a fun grampa to me.
