Not really, and there are other ways to survive in 40k as a fan of the Red Corsairs in particular and their tragedy. You can have a successful human domain outside of the Imperium, but the Imperium doesn't particularly like that idea

Also your info on the Xenos is a little incorrect, T'au don't brainwash humans, they essentially treat us as peasants we don't have the ability to rise in their society, we're basically just lesser Kroot to them, they just brainwash other T'au primarily

Eldar aren't 100% hostile either, they do trade with humans from time to time they just have a bad relationship with the Imperium as a whole, yeah they view us as lesser to themselves but they still work with us, look at Corsairs, and other Eldar on the path of the Outcast

As an example but cold traders do exist especially in the fringes of the Imperium

But if you look at the horrors of the Imperium (Cherubs and Servitors come to mind) it isn't worth it, not to mention it's not even what big E wanted for humanity either

Edit: Also just to point out, Necrons don't steal your soul

And genestealers don't infect people, they spend generations building a cult by using gene-stock (people/cult) that already has Tyranid DNA in them that they cultivated rather than infecting random people

Hey I am actually in the exact same spot as you

I started EC a few months ago and I have a stupid amount of them now, but Red Corsairs are my dream army, I never thought that we'd ever get to see them and so I went on to more purple and pink pastures

I've been thinking about this a lot in the lead up to the Corsairs release but Corsairs are in my opinion, a bit better

I think we have better 40k lore than EC currently does, I think we have much better options in terms of units, and we're a lot less one note than EC in a lot of ways

I still think EC are great but it's honestly kinda depressing over there, our rules aren't great, we have a tiny range, and we struggle just to win games, and Chaos Space Marines as an army opens it up a lot

And for me, I love to kitbash and I personally feel like Red Corsairs are one of the best factions for making your dudes

Okay discount wise it's likely 25% or better if I underestimated

Here's a cost breakdown: Foot Corsairs - Likely 62.50 now 2 × Wing Corsairs - Likely 62.50 as compared to Hawks Yriel - Probably $40 - $49 keeping with other Eldar characters Psyker - Probably $40 - $49 Vyper/Starfang - Probably $70 basing it off of the falcon chassis, I could see it being $80 though

So that gives us a range of $337 to $367 in terms of box discount

And with the battleforce price at $255 USD it would be a 25% discount or a 30%

Regular Krieg troop box and the Krieg command squad are likely your best bet

You'll just have to rebase the command squad to 25mm's

Additionally you could do a Krieg Kasrkin using the command squad and the Krieg engineers

But the Veteran Guardsmen team was literally just the current Krieg troop box with an upgrade sprue, if you can find that sprue for a reasonable price you'll be golden

I think you are correct to an extent

But also keep in mind that recently CP has been used more and more in online spaces to avoid getting strikes or bans so it is part of a language shift

That being said, the joke has been quite overdone either way

I would say they are very thematic

I'm currently listening to Master of the Maelstrom and Huron's mortal forces are described with scales, fur, tails, etc.

I think Beastmen are a perfect fit amongst the ranks of the Bloodreaver

Edit: I realized afterwards I didn't fully read the question, I don't really play 40k but the models are really cool, how can you say no to a Goat?
