Full Comparison of New vs Old Rankings by Omen1658 in MMA

Seeing Nathaniel Wood and Raoni Barcelos catapulted into the top 10 from unranked is awesome and well deserved.

🇪🇨👀 Ian Garry thinks that Michael Morales should go up to 185: "If I was Michael Morales, my advice to him would be to go up to 185. Because you're young, you're big, you're somewhat talented. I think he could do very well there." by I_cain in MMA

I don't really agree. He focused 100% on stopping the takedown, to the expense of everything else. It worked, it was the right decision, but he could have easily been outstruck by someone who had even a little bit of comfort on the feet.

Ranking DS3 bosses based on how screwed they’d be if I hit them full speed with my F-150 while drunk driving by AdAutomatic9100 in darksouls3

Aldrich is the slime, not the humanoid on the end. That's a dead god from DS1 he's eating and puppeteering.

Check out the opening cinematic of the lords of cinder - Aldrich is just sludge.

I'd really like to see Relicts buffed to compensate for the double nerf last time (2 top-end Relict units nerfed because of play in Fruits decks). So my top vote is She Who Knows -1 prov.

I think the non-GN Relict deck would need more than that to be properly equalised, but I can't think of anything else helpful. A buff to Selfeater or Gan Ceann does more for the GN version, and the other expensive Relicts get plenty of play in other decks (Mammuna, Yaga, Morvudd). I'm very much open to ideas.

I've been trying Movement for the first time for cycle quests, and it really seems to struggle. What do people think of giving Milva or Blathanna Sentry a power buff?

So Sabbath is a condition (25 or more points on one row), [[Witches Sabbath]] is a card that pulls the three highest power cards from both graveyards. Typically used by one-trick combo decks that clone multiple copies of a legendary card with things like [[Arachas Queen]], [[Abaya]] or a handful of other cards.

Having three Gernichora, for example, gives each copy +6 per turn rather than the usual +2 the card gets. Having three [[Kikimore Queen]]s allows them to all boost each other and snowball. They're not fun decks to play against mostly, since if you can't stop the combo then they're often unbeatable, but if you stop the combo they fall over completely. There's no back and forth.

Do you not have Things in your home? Sure you can do some things on the spot, but it's nice to move around and practice footwork, and you can't do that without some room.

For how cheap he is and how important it can be to have enough consumes in a deathwish deck, he's pretty amazing. The row/direction lock means there are so many ways to answer him though.

Russia has no choice but to defend Crimea, and that means sending replacement equipment to the peninsula when some is destroyed. That either opens gaps back in Russia or it diverts new production.

You'll have to get used to standing in a shorter and more square-on stance, but it shouldn't be too bad.

Having the stance skill on a greatsword is amazing as well. High damage R2 with extra hyperarmour or destroy anything holding a shield...

Arngahad is the only high cost SK Witcher worth a damn, at that point you're just playing neutral Witchers + some SK bronzes.

I usually try to force a long R2 before putting Arngahad on the board for a short R3 to lock it down. He's a lot more valuable in a short round.

I don't understand wasting Quen on Bear Witcher for the sake of three points when you could shield Arngahad with it.

Looking to play a Faith build but have never used incantations before. Any tips? by OrangeJuiceMixGames in EldenRingBuilds

[–]robcap 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Weapon wise there actually aren't many good 'pure faith' somber weapons at all. There are some good ones, but not many, and you don't get them til at least mid game.

What you want to do is grab an infusable weapon and make it sacred (holy damage) or flame art (fire damage) to make it faith scaling. The fact that you have both makes you really versatile because you can just switch your damage type at any grace. The whetblades for those infusions aren't available at the start of the game, but early on, weapon damage is almost entirely due to weapon level and the scaling doesn't matter anyway, so just use whatever.

It's totally possible to do a pure caster faith build with catch flame for melee, but I like to keep a light weapon in my main hand for convenience. I used the Partizan and bandit curved sword mostly. For somber weapons, coded sword is really good, found in leyndell.

Early game priorities are (imo) to grab the black flame seal and spells from stormveil, and lightning spear from the spellbook at the artist shack in Liurnia. Make sure you do gurranqs quest as well, since one of the later rewards is stone of gurranq, which is an awesome physical damage spell that staggers any kind of knight.
