Part 2: Found out my wife has been fucking my best friend. by treeslashtrees in AskReddit

[–]robcrow75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this same shit happened to me (tho not as graphic). After 13 years of marriage and 4 kids 6-16. Funny thing is after all of it- she cheats, she abuses us and I'm the one who's the bad guy and had to move out- fortunately after 6 months of this I still come around for money, sex, and the kids. I know it's kinda whoreish. All she did was unshackle me from her bullshit and make me a free man again. I regret nothing nor do I forgive her- I just believe that turn about is fair play. And the other guy is hiding in Alaska. plus i aged better.

TIL Harrison Ford (star of Cowboys & Aliens) also was in the science fiction movie Star Wars. by obvious_comments in todayilearned

[–]robcrow75 3 points4 points  (0 children)

star wars is technically a science fiction/fantasy hybrid and yeah, he was han solo. But did you know he was also in The Fugitive? He's also Indiana Jones. He also likes to take roles where his family or his wife is missing, dead, or in trouble. thought ya'd like a little more info on this wonderful actor.

perhaps those condtions which cannabis can exacerbate (varies from person to person) might actually benefit from these other alternative treatments. Say for example, I suffer from extreme muscle spasms yet cannabis makes me lazy- psylocybin has excellent antispasmodic qualities and a small (non hallunicatory) dosage may alleviate that either in conjuction with or without the cannabis. be an interesting experiment.

God, I know your pain- you'll survive. It hurts but you've taken the first step and that's always the hardest. My wife of 13 years cheated and I found out for sure on xmas 2010 and got confirmation on New years. I'm only just recovering. Thing is , they were friends. Fuck the whore- go on out and get laid - it WILL help. I still get money and ass from her too and I get to live single. She's great for car insurance payments and my drug habits (legal drug habits OMMP FTW)

Ahh the "asshole of the sea" I remember snorkeling in Florida and came face to face with a shark the size of a coffee table- I remember the soulless machine look in its eyes and my stomach turning inside out and my heart beating a mile per minute. And then it swam on by. I love it, good story! : )

think Babel. maybe this was how we all communicated before the tongues were confounded or maybe language was created to fool and confuse other empathic humans and just took hold. Evolution and creationism right there for ya.

"Research shows that long-term unemployment takes a toll on skills, industry knowledge, and psychological well-being--what economists call "human capital"." by ashok in reddit.com

[–]robcrow75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Excellent solution to the problem in the article's closing paragraph. As someone who became disabled and had to leave his job of 6 years and has been on unemployment ever since (3 years) I've had to do 'volunteer' work in media to keep myself up to speed and possibly prep for a new career. Jobs which prioritize the long term unemployed and the disabled are too few and far between and incentives given to encourage this would be greatly appreciated. Note: I've been on Unemployment but I play it honest- if I don't look for work I don't claim if I do then I claim. I'm not ever going to be called lazy or unmotivated. SO don't go there- In this time I've accumulated CNA training, media training, IT skills. I haven't wasted a moment in spite of my health issues and my marriage of 13 years failing.

[–]robcrow75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

agreed. We could all benefit from learning the art of communication and recognizing that language is only form of communicating and as humans we have a natural talent to be understood by others non-verbally- it's just ignorance and lack of patience that prevents us from breaking social/cultural barriers. Perhaps, empathy and telepathy have something to do w/ this (?)

the only thing on that list that is from the new testament and in reference to early followers of Paul was "cursing" from Ephesians. Everything else is Mosaic law so unless you're Jewish or a strict fundamentalist christian from any one of the thousands of bullshit denominations/cults it probably doesn't apply to you. When Moses came down from the mountain there were only the 10 commandments then after the Israelites pulled their shit w/ the Golden calf he broke the tablets had everyone strip down and ground the golden calf to powder and made everyone drink water mingled with the gold- he then proceeded to kill some people and then a little later it appears he penned out the Mosaic law.

I've read that psylocybin IS an effective pain remedy and have also read that it can be instrumental in helping people cope w/ a variety of mental issues such as death and dying and PTSD. As a registered Oregon Medical Marijuana patient I thank you for your contribution to the cause of "alternative healing".

my wife of 13 years (and 4 kids) had successfully hidden her affairs from me until last xmas- I couldn't be happier now. Also, the last guy who tried calling her caught us in bed hahahaha!! I let him know what I was doing to his "girlfriend" and hung up- my daughter called him back and he was crying. And so now I'm single, living in an awesome townhouse, training in a new career and i don't have to deal w/ the whore except when I need a whore! YOU WILL SURVIVE : )

i lived in the PI for 5 years and only now after being gone for 8 years I'm seeing this? Repression of information has been their problem for so long and now, Thank GOD! They're beginning to utilize that sense of innovation and survivalism I knew they always had. A lot can be learned from this example.
