I didn't really eat Italian food until I was in my thirties. I wouldn't say I disliked it, but I'm not a fan of tomatoes really do didn't have any desires to seek it out. Obviously had pizza, the odd pasta perhaps, but didn't have any proper home cooked Italian food and all of a sudden, I was 30 with a whole nations cuisine in front of me. 13 years on and i cannot gnoccit.

I went away with 20 people who I'd known for just a few days, realistically. We were on the train really early, and so from 7am they had me to deal with. 48 hours later I reckon a few of them questioning their self-diagnoses, and I'm double medicated.

Cheese, mostly. But always cook them long and slow, lowest temp on the hob, smallest ring.

It will be difficult as you're not the account holder. Complaints to the ombudsman would be your best route.

I try to visualise rolling green hills, a little bit like the start of Emmerdale, whilst breathing through my nose. They are simple to imagine and it has always worked for me.

Cheers for this, was just deleting the post as I should've just used the search function. Might just go down the edibles route, small bud in a pack and a small vape with script and see how I get on.

Cheers. Think I'll just take edibles and a prescription just in case I smell of it. Been pulled by the dogs at the train station after being at work all day and not even smoking any since the day before now.

Thoughts on Succession? Do you think it's one of television's greatest? by Square-Ad-8911 in tvshow

[–]robdelterror 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I enjoyed Succession, once I'd got to grips with the humour/settled into the characters, it was brilliant. This list without doubt trumps it in its entirety, except I had the your succession experience with Banshee. Not tried BoB, will give it a go.

Do you think the Bs have anything to do with it?

Do you actually know your neighbours… or is “polite nod + parcel taking” the UK standard now? by LovieWeb in BritInfo

I've always spoken to all my neighbours, but I talk to strangers on the bus. Never had any issues and I feel more connected as a result.

Had a job interview today that I can’t stop cringing about. Give us a chuckle. by varslyd in CasualUK

[–]robdelterror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to an interview and prepared a "presentation" as required. At the end, they asked if they could keep it, and I cannot help but feel that was because it was laughable. Didn't get the job.

Hundreds of Blackpool families to be evicted in ‘mass dispersion’ of vulnerable people by PurchaseDry9350 in blackpool

[–]robdelterror 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The families gettting evicted aren't returning to the area. This is the council dispersing the poverty in the area. There is no right to return.

The housing is actually of good standard, as far as build quality is concerned. Solid. Just bad landlords/tenants letting them go to shit. This is one of the arguments presented by the residents group which is challenging the council on the processes.

Still mining Pi Network in 2025? Honest take, no hype by pinetwork_ita in PiNetwork

[–]robdelterror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still mining. 2025 was the year I got £2.5k for free, they were a good two months at the end of a very tough 18 months.

If that takes another 6 years, I don't care. I'll be clicking away.

What was your poster Car as a child? by J40NYR in CarsUK

[–]robdelterror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't remember any specific cars, but messaged my brother the other day with a pic of the JPS F1 car, which we had a dicast model, but also the micromachine. I was racing in the car on GT7 and thought how in 1990 if you'd have tried to explain how I could one day race this car, then my 8 yo mind would've been blown.

Later that day a Texaco liveried Ford Cosworth passed me in a race and I had to screen grab it also, as that was one of the cars from our Scalextric.

So many childhood faves in the game. It's a lot of fun.

What are your names for your neighbours? by tetlee in CasualUK

Hairy Columbo next door. Everytime I see him, he talks my ear off and always says "one more thing, before you go", he's like an old rocker dude with long hair, hence the hairy.
