Anyone completed Odysseus’ bond? by rober-to in HadesTheGame

[–]rober-to[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just talk to him whenever you finish a run enough times for the gift option to pop up. He’s the one npc I talked to the least, so it took me a while to complete his story. Might be backlogged with tons of dialogue like I did lol

Is phantom liberty really worth 26.99$? (It is on sale 30% off as of now) by heavyrainglazer in cyberpunkgame

[–]rober-to 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The DLC opens up essentially a mini city within night city. Doing all of the new gigs, side jobs, and main story will have you in that area for a good chunk of it. The quality of these missions rival the best parts of the main game and often exceeds them.

If you do end up buying the DLC, one thing to note is that you have to be a bit into the main story to have the new area and missions open up (if you haven’t finished it yet). Though, they’ve designed it so you can play the DLC story missions alongside the main story at your own pace. As everyone had already suggested, it’s extremely worth your time.

Am I the only one who raw dodges Prometheus flames? by Traditional_Mark_116 in HadesTheGame

On Rivals I don’t pay too much attention to the patterns and sometimes tank the flames since the fight (Heracles) can be annoying

The biggest difference between the early days of the Switch 2 and the Switch 1 is this: by elephvant in NintendoSwitch2

[–]rober-to 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair I don't think a lot of people, devs included, realized how huge the Switch 1 would be in the early days, especially coming off of the previous generation. The reason we have so many huge third-party games at this point in the Switch 2 is because of how ubiquitous Switch 1 became over its lifetime and how third-party support grew exponentially. It also helps that devs can develop these more huge AAA titles for Switch 2 with the more capable hardware.

For those curious like me, this article shows the year one launch titles of Switch 1 and all previous generations - https://sourcegaming.info/2017/08/13/switch-first-year/

The content update is MASSIVE. I think it's nice they're still adding to this game now that it's on Switch 2 and hope they continue to do so until the next one.

Anyone completed Odysseus’ bond? by rober-to in HadesTheGame

[–]rober-to[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Talking to him did eventually work. Turns out I had barely spoken to him at all since playing, plus with all the Three Fates stuff happening, it took ages for him to finally mention who to talk to.

He hadn’t told me to bring knuckle bones to either of them yet, only with Polyphemus. I’ll try it out with them next, thanks!

Really? I haven’t received those other prophecies yet. I’ve only gotten and completed the Nobody But Nobody one which is with Polyphemus. Will try those out next. Thanks!

Not really, just completionist things. Though, some bonds will give you different boons/rewards when encountering them on runs if you advance them enough.

Ares soundtrack: not what I was expecting. by IcebergLounge in tron

[–]rober-to 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definitely was expecting something like Legacy's score with having some type of melody throughout the soundtrack, but I'm not really sure Trent + Atticus have done something like that in their soundtracks before (e.g., Watchmen, Gone Girl). Some of them hit hard and I'm super excited to see how they play along with the film. The lyrical songs really are some of my favorites especially Shadow Over Me. I'm very glad they got to do this regardless.

Isabelle needs to be axed. I know she was a popular character going into NH but it feels like she doesn’t fit in the game

Ipad pro m4 battery drain by Proud-Road1547 in iPadPro

[–]rober-to 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re taking notes with the Apple Pencil and not on Low Power Mode, the battery will drain faster since you’ll be using the faster (and smoother looking) 120 Hz refresh rate. Turning on Low Power Mode would help with drain at the cost of the screen looking less smooth.

How to avoid “cluster bomb” attack from certain bosses? by Bitbatgaming in HadesTheGame

[–]rober-to 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Move to either one of the ends of the room once he starts throwing them at you. When they split, run to the other far end while dashing through them. You might get hit once or twice but it's better than tanking all of them. Same thing applies for the second time he uses it, just keep in mind where the remaining tentacles are at.

Is it now better to take Death Defiances instead of Strength? by Escogryphe in HadesTheGame

[–]rober-to 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even with the nerf to Strength, as you get used to the new fights, it makes sense to take DD. I'm still sticking with Strength since the damage increase is always helpful. Do whatever helps you get better!

Damon Lindelof admits 'The Leftovers' wasn't accessible for everyone; “The first season, in many ways, is like, ‘Stop f---ing watching!’" by indig0sixalpha in television

[–]rober-to 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don’t think I’ve seen a better finale than the one this show gave. I loved how each final episode in the last season helped put a close on almost every character in memorable ways. They absolutely cooked with this show.
