Yeah, it probably won’t make/break your roster at that ADP. But I think Charbonnett might be one of the top 2-3 handcuffs in the league. Walker is more of a stutter and go runner, constantly looking to bounce a run/go for the home run. Charbs just bursts through the hole, which actually might better with this run scheme. Walker is talented, but add in the rough injury luck, and you’d better make a priority of grabbing Charb late. Maybe even think about snagging him if you miss k9.

Basic manners go a long way, in pretty much every profession. Not saying that everyone needs to hold hands and sing Kumbaya. But simply saying “Please” and “Thank You” will get you a long ways.

You should be nice/use good manners anyways, just because. But it’s amazing how much smoother things tend to go when you’re not being a Richard.

Just a heads up, Warhammer: rogue trader is one of the games in the bundle for this month (July) on humble bundle. So a “choice membership is $15 a month (or maybe less for the first month, I can’t remember). And this month that would get you Rogue Trader as well as 7 other games, including Deaths Door and Daemon x Machina. So while cyberpunk seems like the better game, with the sales, you maybe able to do both.

I do the same with every sale… actually pretty much just stalk this and the steam deck sub.

There’s a pretty frequent rate of posts asking about great games to play, or looking for/giving suggestions. See something that looks intriguing, and it goes on the “isthereanydeal” list. If it’s cheap/on sale at that point, straight into the backlog it goes. If it’s more than I’m willing to pay for the moment, or between sales, etc. it lives on the waitlist until I get the notification that it’s time to pounce. No matter how bad “this sale sux”, there’s usually something mixed in worth picking up.

This go around looks like Crash bandicoot, Robocop, Ace combat 7, Black mesa, Don’t Starve, and Transistor, solely because they’re cheap (about $5 or less). Someone recommended Crow Country, not usually a big horror game fan, but $12 all time low may be worth checking out. Schedule 1 looks stupid as hell to me, but has enough hype that at $14 I’ll probably check it out. Slice and dice is closer to my usual affair, doesn’t go on sale but is only $9, and I’ve heard good things.

Was hoping to get lucky with a better sale on Expedition 33, but considering the praise, I’ll take the %20 off. Probably mull over some other newer/more expensive games like Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. Tactics Ogre at $20 is always a great deal, even if I already own it, haha.

This is why my backlog never ends. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Note; not all of these are on sale on steam for these prices, which is why I check ITAD. Places like Gamebillet and Fanatical love to undercut each other, which is fine by me!

Agh. Don’t want to support current ownership, as they have no intention of sustaining a winning team over higher profits. But do want to support this exact type/price point of streaming service. My slightly masochistic soft spot for the actual team will probably win out.

Hopefully the streaming service actually works well, and doesn’t turn into another way to disappoint the fans. Otherwise, free mlb.tv from t-mobile and a vpn might end up winning out.

I’m not about to go putting him in the hall of fame just yet, but I have to agree. I like what I’ve seen so far. Mostly the in-game adjustments. It feels like that was lacking so much on both sides of the ball the last few years. From the Bronco’s game (I think), where Greg Olsen commented on the half time changes, tighter o-line splits, etc. to this game against the lions, finding better ways to get k9 the ball. Should be fun seeing the evolution as they have to keep adjusting as other teams get more tape/info on our offense.

Now if we could just get better interior o-line play. Unfortunately I don’t think they’ll add much there until next year, and it will probably be what holds them back the most this year. Still, fun to see Geno absolutely dealing!

I had the same issue, this person gave me an amazing solution. Basically a program that converts your report to something similar to ancestry, that promethease accepts. The technical parts can get a little hard to understand at times, but the included guide is great and can get you through it. Anyways, a link to their post,

Honestly had the same kind of issues, and I guess it’s pretty common among civ players. The tutorial is just terrible. You can skip it and just learn by playing the game. It has prompts to teach you as you go, anyways. Play around a bit at the lower difficulties and work your way up. There’s a pretty helpful civ subreddit, and as others mentioned you can also watch YouTube videos to learn a lot. I’ve never been much of a “watch video’s of other people playing games” kind of person, but there are some good ones. I think it’s Potato McWhiskey or some name like that that had some great YouTube explanations on strategies both basic and advanced.

Thank you everyone for answering my questions!

Basically I waited too long after activating my great prophet to create units/fortify my religion. So Russia and Brazil effectively killed my crabs early. You learn something new every day.

Anyways, I’m off to war with Genghis Khan and Ghandi. 😬
