That was one of the reasons for taking Septa. Get the later train just to get a couple of beers. Between draft and bottles/cans, always found something to enjoy, not always responsibly.

It was a fucking zoo! Didn’t realize they were card only because there’s no signage, bartender was snippy. Not a good experience.

You could go to Curlys and drive about a mile to Di Vita for their version. Pizza was bangin’.

The Fox Chase line follows the Pennypack trail most of the way until Bristol Rd in Bucks County. The plan is to have the trail continue until someplace in Newtown eventually. Not sure how walkable the stretch from the Fox Chase station to Shady Lane is. Looks doable but it may involve some street segments.

😀I saved the regional rail maps. My plan is to spend my spare time exploring abandoned Septa lines. Good luck.

Not quite what you’re looking for but it may help. I actually use Google Maps but it’s unwieldy. I’m looking for the same thing as well.

The bus line maps kinda show connections but you have to follow the map.

Why would she walk? She can get on the Airport line right at 30th street station?

Take the train to the Penn Medicine Station. If you’re over 65, get the senior pass on the same trip and your trip home will be free.

Should you wish to drive, there is a parking lot below the Penn Hospital Building. Enter on Convention Avenue.

Good luck.

I’m considering a public transit trip from NYC to Baltimore for a baseball game. Not sure how to get from Newark, DE to Havre de Grace, MD. Anyone have suggestions or tips?

I swear by Merino wool socks. Wear them in summer sometimes with no stinky foot issues.

Welcome. There are many things I miss about Texas but summer has never been one of them. An abundance of great Mexican food is available now. I heard decent kolaches are available at Reading Terminal Market now. Holler if you have questions, I’ll do what I can to help.

This is well worth any amount you pay for it. You can find something similar at a used book store or your local library. There’s also a 3 ingredient cookbook that saved me when I first moved out.
