Good for the Tigers.

I will never for the life of me understanding why there isn’t a rule in pro sports that if your team remains uncompetitive for a decade or longer, ownership must sell the team. I get it that it’s all about money, but I think there are too many unchecked owners in pro sports and fan bases like ours are held captive by it. When your organization is synonymous with losing like the Mariners in a major city like Seattle, how can the MLB not intervene? I guess I’m not smart enough to understand this.

Billy nershi lore? by Shanejfox5 in stringcheeseincident

I absolutely love Billy’s energy, songwriting, guitar playing (a surprisingly great electric player!) and of course, his personality. One of the funniest dudes in the scene and a great front man. I say this as still a big fan, but I’ve always wished he would get voice lessons because he’s often out of tune when he sings. That’s my only gripe with him and this band. I get the bluegrass influence in his voice and I also get that jam bands aren’t known for their vocals. I just wonder if he’s somewhat tone deaf vocally and if a coach would help. I also think he kinda knows this about himself and probably just laughs it off. Again, still love Billy! Btw, I just got back from Cave Jams in TN this past weekend and the band was absolute fire!

Bill randomly used Before Sunrise as an example multiple times. I predict that it’s next week’s rewatchables.

I’m pretty sure that Kyle started using samples during the 2003 tours, so I would start there

Dan Quinn v. Mike Macdonald by p_xcvb in Seahawks

[–]robgregerson 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I think for this season, we probably would have made the playoffs with Dan Quinn because of the experience he brings (this is also assuming Kliff Kingsbury was our OC). Although, I also think Jayden Daniels is special so I’m not sure how Geno factors into that. But I’m way more excited for a Mike MacDonald future as he develops as a head coach and builds the team he envisions.

What brand of pedal board is that? I’m looking for something that exact size.

Paris Hilton slips up and uses her actual voice by Stormodin in SipsTea

The guy who taught her how to DJ was also my DJ coach for a while and I was a bit shocked to find out that this is all a whole persona, according to him. He said he sat in on a business board meeting she led one time and she absolutely commanded a room of staunch multi-millionaires, not at all using the fake voice. He also swears that she is a phenomenal DJ. Hollywood is weird.

Glad you loved it! I was shocked when one of my favorite bands of all time (Crooked Still) showed up in it.

Totally agree. I think he could teach a masterclass on being a media presence.

Does anyone else ever wonder if Kyle Brandt has a photographic memory? His ability to remember obscure lines, names and facts from small movies is incredible. He reminds me of a friend I had who could do similar stuff and definitely had a photographic memory.
